Hi friends. To those who had just updated to Kitkat and have been experiencing problems here is a probable solution. Restart your phone and as soon as the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 screen appears press and hold the volume down button until the words 'safe mode' is displayed in the lower left of your screen. Restart the phone again. This might or might not solve your problem but it is worth a try.

Hi, I am using samsung galaxy grand 2 black color mobile. Recently my settings have been changed. I don't know what's the problem. The problem is, every time after calling I could see that the default SIM is selected as another one as I had set before calling one SIM. I don't know how this problem will be solved. The cursor is automatically selected on the second SIM. Can anybody plz solve this problem? Would I need to be change any settings?

Dear All
I got the restart problem of kitkat solved for Grand 2 fixed, but even after that the games will be slow (Thats a problem of kitkat). to fix restarting problem, take the battery out, put it back in.Press and hold volume up and press and hold power button simultaniously. Then hard reset. Ensure that you have enough battery left(Charge while switched off, if required). There you go.

Hey folks. Grand 2 is Speedy but Beware dont upgrade Grand 2 to Crappy KitKat. It will beat the f**k out of it and games will be too slow... If anyone knows how to downgrade to firm version. Do share or mail at luckyamar@gmail.com

after 1month of using this samsung galaxy grand 2 mobile, updated os to kitkat the problem arises each and every minute its hanging and automatically offs i want solution dear samsung manfacturing department!!

ok guys, the battery is really bad and charges very slowly! that's not good since its not a very cheap phone

Yes I agree with you on that but if you look closely when you move apps to microsd the free storage space on the built in memory stays the same instead of being less. It looks like it has been 'moved' but in reality it has not been moved at all. Instead it has been moved to an 'emulated' microsd storage that uses the device's built in memory instead of the real microsd.
