Guys , Please give clear advise that should android 4.3 users update to android 4.4.2 or wait till some update patch or android 4.4.4 or android l version .
Some users are saying great update , many are calling it buggy , and many going to Samsung service centre.
Is the update buggy , since people upgraded to android 4.4.2. Without clear internet speed and download interruption and though who updated with fair. Wifi or 3 g received update without interception installed update, which was not buggy . ( I don't buy into this argument )

Plz somebody tell me how can i turn off the automatic update off of different apps present in mobile? Sud we go to play store or to Phone Setting option????

Internet services goes On and off repeatedly and the E sign goes off automatically and can't access the internet services when needed badly. Also tried the helpline but same problem till now. Any tech guru out there with any expert opinion please ???

i purchased Galaxy Grand2 nearly 2 months ago and i updated twice till yet. but this time when it upgrade (upgrade or update???i cud not see the version)it became unusable, it always restarts within one or two minutes, its touchwiz became fail, doesn't work at all. What to do ???? please help meeeeeeeeeeeee.

My fellow friends,black and white notification tray is not an issue...every samsung device updated to 4.4.2 has this b&w color...even samsung galaxy note 2 has this issue

Got kitkat update.. excellent apps and performance but me facing only one problem.. After switching on the mobile, the screen gets blank wen it's gets on.. While locking the screen , the screen gets lock late..any solution for this bugs

Hello all those who have upgraded to kit kat.
Please tell what are major benefits.
This phone is designed for 4.3. Obiously upgrading to 4.4.2 is going to cause headaches/problems. It should work best on 4.3 for which it is designed.
Please give very honest opinion on upgrade if it is worth.
Two issues are already there namely b&w notification tray and weak FM radio with lot of hunting.

Long Press on the "location" icon in notification bar. It would take you to the window/option called "location method". There, instead of "High accuracy(which uses GPS,+Wifi+mobile network", select "Power saving". This would use only Wifi and Mobile network and won't use GPS. You can also open that menu via settings->connections->location. I hope this helps.

following issues with the kitkat
update of grand 2, hope samsung will come out
with fixes soon :(
1. Now it became impossible for apps to know
my current location without switching ON GPS,
now any app can't detect my current location
using wifi or mobile network, so to do even
very basic tasks you have to switch on GPS
every time. (specialy accuweather wigdet app )
2. Whenever I start using my phone, lock
screen is displayed with a lag of 1 second.

Yeahh!!Updated my grand 2 to 4.4.2 kitkat..i dint hav a single problem..better ram usage,ok google,very fast ui,album art,new s5 calculator,white status bar icons,new emojis,new clock,s5 animations in some apps..luv the update..!
Use fast 3g to download the firmware to escape bugs..!!way to go samsung..nxt android 5.0 lollipop fr grand 2 maybe..!
So jst update ur phone guys..its really greattt.!!👍

PB, 18 Jul 2014i've updated my grand 2 to kitkat 4.4.2 & noticed a lil bit changes like status bar, emoji... moreminor bug,remove ripple effect and u will be able to change the lock screen wallpaper

Updated my grand 2 to kitkat till now not faced any problem and my phone is faster than before and I am not facing any lock screen issus.my camer and keyboard is very faster than befor.my status bar in white colour after kitkat update and also some icons is changed and my phone is smother now but I am not satisfied with this update because I expected more in this update as like original 4.4.2 kitkat in s5
