siddhss, 15 Jul 2014hello hello hello ....its emergency and it urgent...i upgraded my grand2 in kitkat 4.4.2......... morei faced the same problem dude.just backed up my data.went to the nearest samsung service center.they just formatted my phone and installed the kitkat rom for free.no having no issues.

I haven't faced any issues in last 3 months of usage. Sometimes 3G signal is weak in some area. In those areas you can put the network mode to "GSM only" (i.e. 2G mode). This should solve your signal tower problem.

Kitkat update - worst for grand 2
I cannot make or receive calls. Cannot change my lock screen wallpapers. Google acct not getting synced. Google chrome crashing. Cannot use internet. Its too slow. Factory reset solves all for a few time but den d same continues.
Pls dont upgrade till fixed.

Hello guys I got d solution of 4.4.2 upgrade problem
Switch off your mobile and charge full batter
Then press at a time volume up button + power button+ home button
Then choose reboot system
Then will solve your problem

Yesterday my phone automatically , started downloading 360.9 mb , i cancelled the download , as i though to get review of Kitkat knowing it is the most problematic OS update in history of Android ( See Nexus 5 issues ).
Should i update to Kitkat or are all users of Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 with this update facing issues.

Samsung gives worst service my battery ISN'T charging fully i have been daily going to Samsung service center but to no avail. I would never recommend or buy any samsung from now onwards. My reference id with Samsung is 8461833048

As many cooks spoil the broth same way Samsung do that to mix his software to android software to make a cocktail of bad taste. If Samsung peoples have no such capability to do it why they experiment with stock android. They will release it as stock android as Motorola do and release it quickly and not to wait so long to spoil the broth.

i spoke with samsung customer care...they told me that...samsung didn't sent any OTA update....OTF...I told them i recieved this update by OTA .... they registered my complaint and told me that plz visit nearest service center....oohhh god ...lots of headache

Yesterday morning I revived ota update of kitkat. It's very disappointed as no or very few changes. But comes with allot of problems. It is worse update I come across ever in history of android update by Samsung .battery charged by 7 to 8 hrs but drain by 2 to hrs. Phone heats to much . Hanging lock screen problem front camera problem Internet not working properly chrome crashed. Allot other. So don't update grand 2 to kitkat. Someone can suggest me how to back on 4.3. Beware all update are not always good sometime it kill your phone.

Help! Pls, can't view files transferred to phone via cable connection except via bluetooth. Kept showing' format of file cannot be displayed on device' will you like to convert or skip. Tried both options but cudnt view files after disconnecting device. Thank you
