Kitkat update now available on grand 2 g-7102. The update is around 300 mb. Phone is slightly faster with better RAM usage. Battery now charges to 100%, wireless printing available, gps on/off switch now is renamed as 'location'. Default applications added under general settings. Unlocking the screen is faster. Camera icon added on lock screen.

it solves display brighntess issues?
wat abt net connnetion optios in kikat we miss current options ithave only 3g n 2g option...
some times its contact n log lags in gelly bean...wat abt d speed???

[deleted post]Myself Using Samsung Grand 2 since March 2014 in India.

Now finally getting Kitkat update. here is the changelog shown on the phone

Grand 2 Kitkat Update (India)
1. OS upgrade - [Kitkat OS 4.4.2]
2. Music Album art will be displayed on the lock screen while playing music.
3. the new launcher setting menu has been added - [home screen, sms]
4.camera shortcut is added in the lockscreen.
5. improved the user interface and stablity

* Some changes may vary depending on country or network depandent
* after upgrading, you will not be able to downgrade to old software because of updates to the security policy.

Guys do not update tour phone to kitkat it is hanging more than it used to previously.
