To sum up by seeing various comments this phone seriously has charging issue. It may be a software issue or hardware? ? Only Samsung knows.

I am trying to clear your all doubt about this phone..if believe me.. Mircomax Canvas colour a120..
price Rs.8650 on fflipkart.
1. Yes, Kitkat Update will coming soon. that confirmed on news paper add & mmx website.
2. Full HD (1920*1080p) Video Recording ( under Fine mode option)
3. OTG cable is Supported.
4. Fm Recording
5. All high end games are Supported.
6. Apps move on SD card.
7. Both Sim are 3G Supported.
8. It has 2000mhz battery, But it support Original 3000mhz battery which is canvas a116 HD.
9. LED Notification is present. But No compass or magnetic sensor.
10. Rear 8mp+2mp Camera. image is very good in daylight but night is also good, flash light is also high as samsung grand 2.
11. You know all high end phone are heating. now my phone is not heat up because temp is low in area. So there is no problem.
12. display is very Good colour Vivid ( 320dpi on Cpuz)
as same as Grand 2 if you used galaxy s5 theme with apex launcher then you don't different both phone in any angles.
One Secret if you open any apps on both phone then you will see the canvas colour is best displayed the font & images than Grand 2. it's also Tested then I say..

Never hangs nd never slows down.
Great battery life.
I would recommend all to buy thz. ..

sv, 23 Jun 2014im also facing same prob..I too have gone through Such an issue 3 times since its purchase in June..
Sometimes it charges fully
Some times, it skips from 98% to 100%
At times it remains at 94% Forever..
Then I switch OFF the Charger, Remove the Battery and then Switch it ON it displays 100%.
But On a Continuous Usage of Mobile Data, it gives me solid 10h of Battery Back up
And On Standby it gives 144h of Battery Backup.
But till now, there has been no issues of heating up and freezing of the Phone.
50 days successfully Completed using this Phone.
