When all the companies (even domestic) have launched Kit-Kat powered phones in low budget, why samsung can't do so? answer required from sammy pl.
Anonymous, 26 May 2014Anybody facing the autobrightness problem guys.. fr mine its nt wrking In my experience, Grand 2 does have auto brightness problem, I had the unit replaced but its still the same. When you click the auto brightness at the time that the back part of the phone seems to be heating up..your screen will totally black out, and u will occasionally see the phones own message that the device is overheating. so unclick the auto brightness again. It works just fine without using the auto brightness. I hope samsung makes a fix/solution for this one. Samsung I guess must admit the issues, and provide solutions. Because without admitting it, and leaving the customers with the problem may make them think twice when buying their products in the future. And reputation does make it critical. Using wifi connected on gaming makes it heat up FAST(just about 20seconds), on normal indoor temperature(NO AIRCON). Heating up is also fast, i thought i was putting iron on my ears when I was calling/talking with someone.
However, aside from heating issues, it is manageable.. it does not totally affect the pleasure experience. You just have to be more careful on observing your phone. The phone is generally GREAT. Big and Bright Screen, dual sim, 1.5days moderate use before recharging, Perfect for a midranger and dual sim users, budget users..but definitely not a cheap phone. I think this is far a lot better than previous high end phones of apple or samsung, because you get all the features you need including radio, at a bigger screen, slimmer sides, dual sim, at a cheaper price. My rate is 8/10.
