Quad core means that you have 4 cores running at the same s... morewell you cant do that kind of math with processor, the dual core one is krait based, and the quad core is cortex a7. I have tried to compare mega 6.3 and grand 2, in game lika asphalt 8, mega 6.3 is better, so more core doesnt mean better,cheers.

can any1 help plz.........Hi , its actually quite simple.
Quad core means that you have 4 cores running at the same speed, so in this case you have 4 cores running at 1.2ghz.
Whereas with the dual core you only have 2 cores running at 1.7ghz
So eccentially with the quad core you have 4.8ghz(1.2ghz x 4) and the dual core only 3.4(1.7ghz x 2)

Kk, 28 Jan 2014If u have money then get note 2. Dont think just go and buy. Dual sim phones cannot be compared to single sim ones. Single sims have best specs. Get this for dual sim usage ONLY !
