Latest update of 24 mb is just great to this phone. RAM management is more better more ram free, smoothness is more great, display is little sharp more. Overall operation is more smooth with no lagging. Everyone should update this one.

using and loving my Samsung Grand 2 for last 8 month's it's the best double sim android available and now it's cheap also. presently running 4.4.2 waiting for next update

It is d worst phone i ever seen in my life heating more whenever surfing screen will b black sometimes mostly in place of shadow,hanging problem, ,, after update no changes ll b seen ... it is 18 k phone last 2 month ago & recently it iz drop upto 13 k phone wht d hell iz gone!!!!

It's a good phone but you can consider galaxy e5 which is better than grand 2,
i suggest you buy e5

AnonD-86513, 25 Mar 2015indiamaybe it's the second update after kit Kat that you received now, since i received an update with the size of 26 mb 3 month ago.
and update won't change your phone ,i have updated from 4.3 to 4.4.2 with minimal changes almost no change, it just changed a good phone to a laggy phone, it ruined my phone.
I had sony before and by any update there were lots of changes.
