Samsung will not update galaxy grand to 4.3 as Samsung already anounced that 4.2.2 is the last update of this phone
this anouncement was done when 4.2.2 update came for galaxy grand
u can check this at various sites
though u can update it to kitkat by custom roms but some features like dual SIM funtionality, fm radio etc. will not work on them.
u need to root ur phone for this custom roms

after purchasing it for 1 month, i found that samsung grand often lagging..
i feel disappointed and want it to sell it back =) and i think the battery life
is very short compared to blackberry onyx 2.

4. Good camera clarity
5. Very good battery backup
Overall Worth phone for this price range, No company will give this type of quality for this price even Nokia and Apple. Hats off to Samsung.
