best phone for newbie in smartfone. i bought it because i wanna use both of my sim. but ram are to low speed (1gb but only 820mb in use) & application cant move to sd card like note 1.
roaming sim not working??? if you put 2 sim and other 1 is roaming, both sim will not work totally... i have SG ace duos also and roaming sim is working perfect..
This Phone is good, at least better than those available in this Price Range. Its true that phone hangs this is due to very low RAM (though it is displayed as 1GB only 804MB can be used), I think the RAM memory management mechanism is a bit poor in Android. It doesn't clean the unused stuff from RAM.
First of all, it eat up Internal 4GB of Memory and the RAM Usage is around 350MB to 480MB even if you don't open any App.
i updated soft ware and now i cant send videos via blutooth ... just only pics and applications .. how can i fix it
Grand User, 08 Nov 2013http://www.samsung.com/in/supp...pportMain.do guys please visit this website, there is a link... moreThe problem with Samsung is they don't like to update their mobiles to latest version Even though the mobile is capable of running it. I request them to update the Android version only if possible. We don't expect major update in terms of touchwiz.
im confused to buy either grand or tab 3 ,, need your recommendation plz ?
Samsung grand is very nice phone but internal memory is 4gb and not 8gb made in veitnam.
Don't buy galaxy grand. I an using it since May 2013. I bought it for Rs17550. It freezes frequently. It hangs and restarts periodically. Though Samsung provides updates to fix these bugs, no update has fixed these issues. Just a waste of money and time. If you want a smooth phone at that price, I recommend Nokia lumia 720. The reason why I didn't buy it is "Windows phone" which lacks apps and Google doesn't design apps for that platform. If you want to experience the true potential of Android, then go with Nexus phones which have stock Android.
Stock Android is far better than buggy Touchwiz by Samsung. The Touchwiz is full of bloatware like Samsung apps, S Suggest, S Voice which are waste of internal space. The reason why Samsung phones are costlier than Nexus or Micromax phones is because of Touchwiz and bloatware, advertising costs.
Also, Samsung is not updating Galaxy Grand to 4.3 Jellybean. Android 4.2.2. is released by Google in November 2012. But, Samsung released them recently with lot of bugs. Really hate touchwiz and Samsung. Even though I installed latest firmware, Samsung Galaxy grand still hangs and freezes.
I know that flashing a third party ROM can fix these bugs and issues. But the problem is Dual Sim doesn't work with third party ROM. Also, I don't like to flash ROM and destroy the warranty.
Except Camera and Dual Sim, I don't see any thing "Grand" in Galaxy Grand. This phone isn't great for gaming also. Phone heats up while playing games.
It even doesn't support USB OTG. Even the Rs10000 micromax phone supports it. Why not Galaxy Grand?
I think this is due to Broadcom processor. Qualcomm and Mediatek processors support USB OTG. Also, gaming performance is good for phones using Qualcomm and Mediatek processors.
In my opinion the best phone is the one that
1. Runs on Stock Android
2. Uses Qualcomm processor.
3. Has IPS grid LCD display.
4. At least 1GB RAM.
5. Prices between 10000 to 25000 only.
6. Nexus devices are recommended because they are made by Google and LG. They are relatively cheap and run Stock Android on Qualcomm processor.
This Mobile phone(Samsung Grand I9082) is awesome, there is no problem with handset, only issue with back camera, the camera doesn't work properly, sometimes it got hang, Except camera the mobile phone is very good,
cyrus, 09 Nov 2013I find only 4gb internal memory.. Ace 3 is a 4 GB internal memory
