I admired this device before I bought it.
my colleague has the white color.
normally, in settings, from mobile network, you can choose to select gsm if you want the edge network OR automatic if you want it to be switching between high speed and low speed network OR wcdma only if you want it to stay permanently on high speed network (H+).
but, when I bought the blue color, from settings, in mobile network, I only have the option to use 2G only.
which makes my speed to always switch from H to E. is this about the blue or are there many variants of i9082 or should I update my software?

Samsung grand should have 16 GB internal memory than there is no scope for any mobile. Samsung should try for upcoming mobile with dual SIM with 16 GB internal internal with 5 inch or below 5 inch.

ok if u wanna look only brand just go for samsung
and if u want to high perfamnce go to canvas 4
but dont go for the sony products

Some important facts about Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos(GT-I9082):
its main rivals:
1. Sony xperia SP
2. HTC Desire 600c
3. Micromax, xolo, karbonn products
If u compare "xperia SP" & "htc desire 600c" with "Grand"..I must say Grand has got many plus points:
* grand is very cheap when compared to these two
* grand has 'smart' dual-sim feature
* 2 mp front camera..where as its just VGA in sony
* huge 11 cms screen
* multi-window feature(true multi-tasking)
* dual-mini-sim (normal sim) slots..not micro sim..that is.. u don't need to cut ur sim cards for grand

But grand has also got some negative points when compared with these two:

AnonD-193514, 05 Oct 2013want to share my experiance on grand. bought it in march 2013,initially battery backup wa... morei bought samsung grand from 7 days ago ,first the i faced problem with sim 2 but after i changed the sim with a newer one the problem is disappeared but i did not upgrad toandorid v.4.2.2 becuase i heard a lot of problems with that upgrading,i want to ask ghere are any problems sith upgrading and i must charge the battry after 1 day ,is that normal?
