Very good phone for the price. But i prefer to spend more and get a Note 2, because its price is going down with launch of Note 3. And Note 2 has top specs when Grand has mid specs...willing to spend the extra cash.

hi guys,
am thinking about buying this phone but there is a problem with recent Samsung phones where people complain about network problems even when full bars are shown but resolves when the phone is restarted. I noticed it with my brother's S4 mini. It also restarts on its own. I want to know if this ones does the same thing.

Hi Friends,
My samsung grand duos has a problem. when I use viber,voip, yahoo messenger,whatsapp through my Mobile data i have noticed that i get the messages very late and also voip gets disconnected again and again.at first i thought it must be my mobile cellular netowrk issue but i used my sim card in other cell its working fine with no issues at same location. i also noitced that this issue dosent come when i am on wifi. my friend shares his mobile internet connection through wifi in office and it dosent give any issues to me.i even changed the cellular network to vodafone but same issue exists.
Please advise if there are any settings.

stop this bull$h*t of increased ppi...
display ppi is a hardware thing and can never be changed with software update....
this is to every one who has been claiming since last few weeks on this forum

I have brought new galaxy grand duos I9082 two days before and checked all features and I found that screen resolution is improved to 480 x 800 pixels, 5.0 inches (~240ppi pixel density) instead of 480 x 800 pixels, 5.0 inches (~187 ppi pixel density)as mentioned here and after upgrade to android 4.2.2 it become bit laggy and battery performance was also poor so I factory reset it and now it works like charm with good battery backup
