Dont buy this phone
a.Hangs very often
b.Very slow to open contacts & call
c. After updating to 4.2.2 phone screen awakening problem
d.Very bad quality of cam pictures in low light
e. after clicking pic it takes much time to open pic
f. mettalic coating all around will come out after some time
Overall very bad experience

AnonD-165893, 28 Sep 2013Thanks for your comments guys. I bought grand new and to my good luck it had 4.1.2 and am enjo... moremy galaxy grand I update to 4.2.2 it perform smooth specially on gaming but I notice the battery is drain faster than before it last only for 3hrs.

do not update your galaxy grand to 4.2.2 its drain the battery faster.

Display is the worst part of this phone.all other features are ok but 187ppi is not the display of a smartphone.even low budget phones have atleast 233ppi.

Thanks for your comments guys. I bought grand new and to my good luck it had 4.1.2 and am enjoying it. Will not upgrade till issues are resolved.

all good with Grand but when i updated m... moreI think you are using the Easy Mode thats why you are not getting the Add Call and Conference options.
Go to Settings
My Device
Home Screen Mode
select Standard Mode.
Now check. I hope this solves your problem.

I had absolutely no problem with grand.. but after i updated to 4.2.2 using kies the window freezes way to often....and sometimes it lags a lot... please somebody suggest anything!!! is there any new upadte available??

guys sam grand is a very smart phone in 20k.l features are working good.apps are also working welly. dont belive in b-gous comments about it. Its rly nce ph in 20k. so u can go 4 it.its awesome

Hi All,
Have purchased Grand almost a month back,
all good with Grand but when i updated my handset to 4.2.2,its stoped showing confrence call option or add call option,
can somebody advsie,
tried again for another update, but no othe5r update avaialble, reset the phone also but no result,
also
how can i remove 4.2.2 version and go back to 4.1.1 version.

karni, 26 Sep 2013you hasve to visit samsung showroom....you cannot do on ur own.U can....download 4.1.2 indian version from sammobile.com.....dwnload odin software on ur pc nd google the method...I have reverted back to 4.1.2 because 4.2 had problem in gaming..nd now all games are running perfect.
