While using mobile internet android os is consuming a lot of background data like about 1000 mb if I use 500 mb of data. Plzz tell me how to fix this.

Phone is to much hanging problem, after 1.5 years use. phone are total dead, Samsung service centre ask me to replace the Mother board, Approx Rs..7000.00, very bad mobile
