after updating my Sammy Grand, i surprisingly reached 8100 score on antutu and 58.3 on nenamark. i bought my Sammy Grand last april 23 and as for now i still dont have a problem. Sammy is regularly releasing updates so dont worry. just install Samsung Kies and try checking updates once a month. the battery life is superb, i can reach 3 days (regular txting and 1hr internet browsing) 2 days (playing games and internet browsing). otherwise the display is good but if you compare it to iphone 5, dont expect it to be better. if you have questions, you are free to ask me^^. long live Sammy.

Can anyone tell me the proper use smart stay feature im using the phone since one month but couldn't understand n grand is a grand phone, do reply anyone.

The phone id awesome but i have a very strange issue that happen once or twice at least daily...when i make or receive a call neither me nor the caller can hear each other..issue ger resolved only once I restart the phobe...any advice :$

Jason Fernánd, 29 May 2013You're right but GPRS speed also depends on handset. You can see the speed limit on the specif... moregalaxy y & n73 way too old. Using card of same service provider on nokia n8. As you've said same speed of 35 kbps. Using it in morning or late night may have pushed a limit further on your or any other devices. As the grand has HSDPA it can also well ride on about 115 kbps speed unless service provider provides it.

You can see the speed limit on the specifications sheet. I'm using Vodafone speed is around 35 kbps on this handset but when using the same SIM card in other phone(Nokia N73 or Samsung Galaxy y) the speed of GPRS is 53 kbps, dude. This is the only way to check out how slow the GPRS speed of Samsung Galaxy Grand is.

Gprs speed depends upon your service provider and not the cell phone...All the devices support 2g and 3g are capable of providing much more speed, but the service provider offers low bandwidths...

Only 13 percent of people aren't facing this issues. Maybe because they are not heavy users. Use it heavily n you'll know.

let me share this to you Samsung Fanatics,there is NO actally problem on this products(samsung grand duos)the main problem is exactly the distributor,just like what I really experienced here in saudi arabia,a lot of mobile shops here are selling UN ORIGINAL ACCESSORIES,like chargers,USB cables,or even the original housings or covers...they opened the virgin seals of each boxes and replaced the original accessories,their reasons for opening the boxes is to ENCLOSED A WARRANTY CERTIFICATES...but aside from this...they cheating the individual buyers,I noticed it once when I purchaced a mobile from JARIR BOOK STORE...they did'nt even touch the content of each boxes...the warranty cetificates is exactly the genuine reciept from JARIR BOOK STORE,I'm calling the attention of SAMSUNG COMPANY...this is the serious problem...get in touch...GOD BLESS SAMSUNG...

This problems are universal. A lot of people facing these issues and many has to face it yet. My question is, when did you buy Grand and when? Are you using it heavily or moderately or normally? Have you updated the firmware yet?
