Using this phone since last month, it hangged badly two times,I had to remove its battery and den again restart it.... what would I do now, please help....

Being an indian, I think you'll understand our obsession with bargaining and buying things at the cheapest possible rates! It's the same thing with Micromax...trying so hard to imitate international brands at amazing prices that indians will fall in love with! LOL! XD

damn, i bought this phone couple of weeks ago, and you know what?- i ended up in a conclusion that all other smartphone iwas not even to 1% compare to the capability of this samsung grand. its the best phone in the planet. i even drop it off for 5 metrs down, to my surprise not even a micro scratch... damn! this phone lives forever! ... man, youve got to have this, and passs it on to your grand, grand child....... maybe thats where the grand name came for.....grand because it lives forever, in and out.... next test ill try this while rock climing

had this phone for 5 days already, bought here in the philippines at 16990php with free flip cover. here's my own review/ hands on experience:
*display is great, despite the numbers of PPI
*multi view is excellent (able to open chrome and internet at the same time)
*battery could last for 2 days with dual sim on and power saving mode on. (wifi and others are off to preserve battery)
*turned both networks to 2g mode only to preserve power of battery
just my 2 cents (or centavos as what we call here) :)

I had bought Micromax Canavas HD a116 and used it for 1 month. Simply low market peice.
Software was really low market.
I sold it and shifted to Samsung galaxy grand.
Its amazing.
Good camera.
Excallent Softwares. Thats what make the price worth for buying GRAND against any chinese mobile (Spice, Micromax, Karbon etc)
Softwares include: Good Calling software
Screen Lock Unlock and home screen software
Sim Management - calling, 3g/2G amangement, Sms management, all excellent in grand vs poor in micromax HD.
Muscipayer - Grand
Video Player software - Grand
Camera Cunction - Grand
Over all 10 out of 10 to grand and Micromax HD is just a harware without brain.
For those who say screen resolution is less - its not like that. Its indeed a great video viewing experince.
For those who say that this phone lags - It does not. Actually it has 20 softwares running extra compared to micromax. It 20 softwares are runnnig, the speed to experince will be a little low but the usage experince will be 10 times more good.
Its simple, Samsung is Honda bike vs Micromax is Bajaj Scooter.
And I am not a salesman of Samsung but simply a big fan after buying it.

There's no match.
If you have the money , go for the Grand, you wont regret it but if you dont have that much money then either you can go for Canvas HD or some other device.
BUT JUST STOP COMPARING GRAND AND MMX A116

AnonD-127899, 26 Mar 2013If it uses a broadcom gpu like the one found on the s2 plus, which is more efficient while off... moredude i was previously using galaxy s2 i9100 n it has mali 400mp gpu wiht qualcomm....so i thought s2 plau might have the same gpu/cpu..
if ths the case..then oroginal s2 is btr than both grand n s2 plus...it has more ppi, 16gb int storage etc..
