Back cover loose fitment issue within 15days...looks like chin... moreIts how you use your phone that it hangs.
Grand has 804 MB of RAM and if you use it to the fullest then for sure your phone will hang.
So keep a check on the running apps and close apps not in use to save memory.

I tried APP2SD. But its not working.
Please helpApp2SD or any other app used for moving the apps from phone memory to SD card wont work.
Jelly Bean(4.1.*) and some Ice Cream Sandwich(4.0) phones do not allow moving apps to SD card. You can only do so by rooting your phone.

Either upgrade it through Kies or take it to the Service Center and ask them to upgrade your phone.

And for those people who keep on commenting that go for Canvas HD instead of Grand are just dose people who either can't afford Grand or have 0% knowledge about phones and their hardware.
You say that Canvas HD has a quad core chipset but you all either don't know that it has a Cortex A7 chipset or you all just ignore this fact.
So let me tell you all that a Cortex A7 is an inferior chipset when compared to Cortex A9 chipsets so don't expect quad core performance from that phone.
And one more important thing that both the phones have an 8 MP sensor but let me remind you that the Grand has an upper hand on this also, it has a better camera.
What do you expect from Canvas HD which is a mere Rs.13000 phone. If u think Micromax will give you everything in that price then please just forget about it.

hello everyone I am using this phone for almost a month now...and I am facing few issues with this phone:
1)sometimes when I unlock the phone first thing it asks me to SELECT a CITY from a list of major cities in India.
2)At times the the screen blinks and then the color tone of the screen fades almost like 40%.2
3)games with low memory like Beach Buggy Blitz lags and stutters whereas a high memory game like Dead Trigger runs smoothly.
I cannot find any solution of the above problems.just need an advice from you guys what should I do?

Looks like theres a lot of grand duos hater here, just ignore them, they just simply jealous on our unit...
Honestly, not being bias on sgg duos, thia phone is great espwcially the battery, the only thing I hate ia the lack of apps2sd support and small internal memory. That.'s it.
Overall, i'll give 9/10 score.

hanging daily...at alst only option is bettery to get out to restart the mobile.
back cover changed by sevice center , but still same problem.
with poor response from sevice center & from top autority.
I didn't expect this from samsung.
I am very much dis appointing form Grand Duos
so please don't buy

Anonymous, 21 Mar 2013hey those who r planing to buy this phone plzz don't buy it....... coz I have baught this shi... moredude for ur kind information grand runs NOVA 3 smoothly..such a heavy game(1.07GB) and what else u expect..and there is huge difference in price point compare to s3..Grand is awesome phablet at that price..and nenamark benchmark give 58/60..in graphics for gaming.

Elis12, 21 Mar 2013where you put data in phone?I dont need much data, I have a 16gb sd card for pics, music, videos etc which is more than enough, i have dedicated my 4gb phone memory for games and apps
