I got this phone three days back. I gotta say after standing in line for 30 mins (yes believe me), by the time it was my turn to buy it, I was really excited. Checking all the features and screen size at such a prize gave me buzz that I could not hide.
About the phone, its really a nice phone and with heck load of specifications, it may look like a dream buy to anyone. so in short here are some good and bad things that I liked about the new samsung monster.
Good thing about the phone - dual sim ( who wants to carry two phones), screen size, HD recording, processor.
Pretty okay things - touch screen ( its smooth don't worry but not apple smooth or S-3), camera 8 mp ( but then again didn't made me jump out of my seat), camera could be better.
where it lacks - the build quality isn't that great, the plastics material case is not something that I like but given the price it may be ignored.
That's it right, I can't find any other reason so far not to like the phone. so my opinion go for it.

AK, 20 Feb 2013I just hate samsung.i luv htc and lg cell phones its had best and fast prossesersI have used different HTC and Samsung mobiles. I think you are saying in contrary. Samsung phones are better than htc. They have a better signal strength hence a better processing when browsing. Their batteries also last longer.

I bet no one could tell looking at Galaxy Grand's display that its just a 187 ppi phone.
I found only one drawback of this low resolution display that the icons look marginally bigger.

MAKhan, 20 Feb 2013Is anyone having any idea that when it's price going to be reduced ? Looking at the amazing sales of this device, don't expect a price cut anytime soon. However a price cut can come when Samsung Galaxy S4 will be launched and that will be around March-April.

A beautiful Phone for the Social Networking
The Pros:
==========
The 1GB ram can handle a lot of process running simultaneously
The Multiwindow function is great
The Looks are really grand
The Camera quality is great (both front n back)
The assistive light stock widget is the best thing to happen to a phone as u can keep it on while recording a video
The battery life 10 hrs with Net, calls and games
The CONS:
==========
The phone( I9082 )has Only 4 gb internal memory (all websites are wrong )
There is no move to sd card function ( you can't even do that with a 3rd party app)
The S Memo is incomplete without a the S Pen
No Option in Color
No USB OTG support (cannot read a pen drive like the s2 or note1&2)
Conclusion: the phone Is grand for social networking ppl and not gamers or ppl who depend on their device heavily
