But to transfer data to a PC simply use an USB cable to connect phone and PC, no need of Usb OTG.

Everything about this phone is good and excellent, yet I am wondering how come a good mobile phone producer like Samsung has ,by oversight messed up with the Ringer Volume & Speaker Volume (as is apparent from various reviws/opinions) of this fine product by them.Good Audio is one of the prime requirement of a Mobile Phone.
Hope Samsung would be careful in future...... will wait for that to buy ..me a fan of Samsung.

Received my new Samsung Galaxy Grand Max from Snapdeal on the 16th. The Indian model does NOT have 4G/LTE. This is disappointing, and should have been clarified on Samsung's web site. Unfortunately, Samsung has not seen fit to add this phone to their Indian website, other than a sales blurb directing viewers to purchase it from Snapdeal. Phone has two micro sim card slots and a micro SD slot. SD slot is mounted on top of the Sim1 slot, similar to that of the other dual sim phones in the grand lineup. All can be used simultaneously. Phone has no lags and is smooth. Camera protrudes slightly, so a cover is advisable. Unfortunately covers & screen guards are not yet easily procured from the local markets, but are available online. I'm eagerly awaiting the Lollipop update, as it has 64 bit support & is expected to speed up phones with the 410 chipset.
Ringer volume/loudspeaker volume is rather low, & I have had to download a midi ringtone to make the phone audible in noisy environments.
This does not mean, however, that the earpiece has a low volume. During calls, it is loud enough. Camera is quite good, but not brilliant. The phone has the option of increasing the auto brightness, which is a welcome addition. There is no OTG support.

Hello all, please help in in the following:

How many slots are there in this mobile:

(A) Is it 3 slots (SIM 1 + SIM 2 + Memory card)

OR

(B) Is it 2 slots (SIM 1 + Either SIM 2 or Memory card)

In case of (B), we can use BOTH SIM cards plus the memory cards ALL AT THE SAME TIME!

Received my new Grand Max on Monday 16th from Snapdeal.
It has dual capability, along with the sdcard.
Covers and screenguard are not easily available in the market, and will have to be procured online.
Phone seems slick & display is clear and bright.Phone has no lags, but, as it is brand new, not unexpected. I will have to wait and see if lags appear after a few months of usage.
To increase battery life, I have set the screen brightness to auto +2. The option of increasing the auto brightness is a welcome addition. Specs are similar to that of the Lenovo A6000, which has a smaller screen and less ram, reduced camera resolution etc. Official Lollipop OTA update not yet available, but is expected to speed up this model considerably, due to its support for 64 bit chipsets. I could not find anything objectionable within the model, other than it's protruding camera, but this is a problem which will be solved with a good cover.
