Its much similar to the lg l90. Anyhow lgl90 is much better im using about 4 months.
VJ153, 02 Oct 2014Does this phone support USB OTG ??? No it doesnt support OTG
Samsung is a Waste of money, works properly exactly for a year and starts showing problems and samsung gives us crappy hardware and laggy software and he doesnt give us support for update of new versions of Android softwares. Better to go to Xiaomi or other companies, sony has the best hardware even for low end phones. Get a life Samsung people in India doesn't get cheated by Bigger screens anymore so Grow up. Nokia Gives better phones than you in terms of quality and realiability
Herry , 01 Oct 2014compare with Sony Xperia c3 today.. It's available today here in India.. Difference catch eyes... moreThe 64bit processor inside make this phone ahead of the competition, alot better than the c, 64bit is very important, this phone would last longer than the c. The downgrade in resolution will ease up on the GPU. The design is kinda like galaxy j, so maybe it has a metal frame, not a bad design. I think this is a great phone if not over$400
Herry , 01 Oct 2014compare with Sony Xperia c3 today.. It's available today here in India.. Difference catch eyes... moreThats very correct herry.touchwiz is tottally craps eats lot of
ram.Sony has reduced its prices and they gives better hardware, better display, better build ,better audio quality, better updates and everything. Unfortunately samsung have customer base of people who are not technically sound. Most of samsung mid and low range customers are not smart buyers.
Samsung use old lpddr2 ram while sony uses latest lpddr3 ram . Samsung customers are so loyal that if you prove them how others are better than samsung they will not admit it.I have never seen such a loyal customers. They are encouraging samsung for bringing such a craps again and again. Most low and midrange mobiles dont get any update and these loyal customers don't want to say anything about it.
5mp front camera? That's more like it! Few years from now smartphones should have 8mp front camera and 16 on the back. Good quality selfies lol
Samsung insist to market products with same specifications and different codes with slit changes on same motherboard and built in memory capacity.
Why they do not jump to high specs such as increasing the built in memory and capacity of the external, c.p.u., cameras, screen clarity for the dual sim units and the newer models to verify new ones from old ones?
Romelahad, 01 Oct 2014Same desige. Same model. No change. The only changes was the 5MP front Camera though.
Amir-senpai, 01 Oct 2014All the problems you stated are because you've never had experience with it and it's not avail... moreYou are right for very cheap phones less than 100$ where Samsung phones cannot compete with reliable local brand, even though made in China.
But for middle and high range phones, brand names are the best in the long term. People will buy a second hand Samsung phone, not a Huawei (not even sure how to write it...)
compare with Sony Xperia c3 today.. It's available today here in India.. Difference catch eyes by quality and every way of specification.. No HD display no slim design always boring design.. Used both cell for 10 minutes.. Samsung's nature Ul is so much buggy.. Almost 65% of ram used in UI and after that it wil start leg.. Sony have 45% ram used in Ul and ram management is more better than Samsung
.so i bought xperia C3 and after installing more than 55 application still ram is free at 35 percent and camera is more better because of 65 angle view so and both cameras r HD.. Choice is yours.. If price is not matter then go for xperia C3.. My previous phone was galaxy grand 2.. Was so leggy and poor ram management.. Final words i m happy wid sony Xperia..
Anonymous, 01 Oct 2014lumia is not android ok....I know very well lumia is not android...but the samsung is selling this crap on the name of selfie phone...but lumia 730 hardware and camera is much much better than this crap.
TyM, 01 Oct 2014Yeah, buy that chinese phone. And then, try to find accessories for your unknown expensive chi... moreAll the problems you stated are because you've never had experience with it and it's not available officially in your country. Huawei and XiaoMi are now official in Malaysia, I have the RedMi 1S for 2 months and it's perfectly fine, believe it or not, my friends find my phone to be impressive considering the price point. MIUI is smooth than my laggy experience on the touchwhiz UI on my previous Galaxy Grand.
The Core 2 and the S Duos 3 is already ddisappointment for consumers, it would be a gamble to buy the Grand Prime to see the quality.
Its a downgrade over grand2 in terms of ram.
Its highly overpriced will be available in india at the price of 17.5 k.
No gorilla glass.
No extra mic for noise cancellation.
No android l.
Very less resolution for display.
1gb lpddr2 ram.
But I am sure samsung will find enough enthusiast
fools for it.
TyM, 01 Oct 2014Yeah, buy that chinese phone. And then, try to find accessories for your unknown expensive chi... moreThat's probably because those Chinese phones aren't easily available in your country.
I think $280 is way too much considering the entry level specs compared to the best budget phone available, the Moto G.
