Why can't I install clash of clans in this phone?
could someone reply to my post.. really need your help guys :(
i personally use this phone for almost 2 weeks now, one thing i noticed is that it lacks updates on notifs, i mean my viber app, i still need to open the app itself to get my message also the messenger and skype. so i do miss some important message at first. and it lags, maybe because of the ram, i don't have much app installed, no games too but its so laggy.

otep, 06 Jan 2016Galaxy j1. Is it really not compatible for clash of clans? No it is compatible to Clash Of Clans. You just need to update your android version then only you can download COC.But one thing thought,Updates are very slow.I mean you have to wait for the service provider to let you have the new updates of your android version.

i dont understand why you guys are having so many trouble with the J1.. i have my phone from november 2015 and at the very first it moved slow and freezed but after speacking with a tec from my location (not samsung tech)(mobile phone tech) i download the app that was recommended and it worked smooth. and just because i wanted to i did a backup and reset from through the setting and since then my phone works great.. no freezing no hanging
"Can anyone tell me if this is good phone , for taking photos and texting/chatting .(viber) ? And about the battery"
hi. i have this phone from 3 weeks ago. for this money and this class the phone is great.
5mp camera makes photos no so good (for me). i fitted camera for 3.1mp 2048x1536 (4:3) and 1 photo is around 1,5mb. (depend my old galaxy S2 gt-i9100 of witch i fitted camera for 2.4mp 2048x1232 and 1 photo is around 400-500kb but quality is much much much much better. i don't like pictures with size 4-5-6...mb)
for texting/chatting is very good. i am thinking how it does with only 512mb ram. i use apps - messenger, facebook, skype, telegram, bittorrent, mx player, igo, app of my bank, and installed apps by default. i use 3-4-5 apps the same time 30-40mb ram less from 512mb but the phone is still fast.
battery is very strong. 1850mah. can use the phones hours
1. to open video file you must install video player cause default video can't open many files.
2. i still can't connect the phone with computer via usb cable. and i don't know why?
3. appro. 04.2012 i bought galaxy s2 gt-i9100 which i still use to date and he never let me down. i will never sale it. greatest phone. has everything from which i need
I have had mine since November, and it has a glitch where it disconnects from your network provider, when you try to call or text, a message will appear "Not registered on network" Apparently this is a common problem with recent samsung phones. (Search google for more info) There are ways around it that involve taking out battery/sim, pressing home & power button, waiting a couple mins then replacing battery/sim. But it's too annoying to keep doing. And my touch screen has a life of its own. So NO, I wouldn't recommend the Samsung J1.
