This phone may look bad, but it is really good! I accidentally dropped my J1 Ace in the pool once, and the next day it was brand new! Really good phone and very resistant.

Very shiny plastic....
The light blue color is pretty good.
It looks quite a bit durable with those bumpers.

In my opinion, I love this phone. It is awesome! It is easy to use and easy to fix. Most of my friends with new luxury phones have dropped them which have cracked very easily. I have dropped my phone a few times onto the screen by accident but it hasn't cracked once at all. I have had the Samsung Galaxy J1 ace for nearly 2 years and it works like its brand new.
For only $100-$200 it's a bargain!

I got mine for $110 new a few years ago on special. Worked great while it did, I used it daily - txt, calls, occasionally internet when bored and not by the pc. A few months ago battery life decreased dramatically. Screen occasionally wouldn't brighten when used. Suddenly a few days ago it stopped sending and receiving txt. Wouldn't top up credit - wasted $20. Ran it over by accident. A pity but it was dying that's for sure. If it was $80 I would buy another in a heart beat - $100 is pushing it I reckon, but its $150 everywhere and to me its just not a $150 phone. It is good if you want nice 5mp pics and to be able to film in 720p, just make sure you get one on sale. Other phones can do the same cheaper.

Its good for my second phone which I use for Whatsapp, Calls and Facebook. It perform well so far. Almost 2 years already

I cannot connect to Bluetooth with this phone! I thought it was my device but i have tried another exact same one and still cannot connect Bluetooth with other devices!!! I have a device in my car which is supposed to track my driving and im losing out on alot of points because of this!
