The dimensions very close to sony z compact, but it's less specs and way cheaper. Should be enough for calling, messaging, brief web searching. This size makes easier to carry around in the pocket and no need to hold the phone with hand all the time, for people who reluctant to carry a big 5inch plus phone because they don't play heavy games, watch movie at outside.

It'd be awesome having Droids this petit, but potent. I dislike this disease with Android, where, the smaller the fone, the more inferior the specs. I'm at my wit's ends with bulky Droids that need a trolley to push around wherever you go. I want it small (Android, I dislike iOS) but powerful.

When i bought my Samsung J1 i am wondering why every time i'll sent a message or receiving messages it always have a duplication i already checked the settings must repair my phone.. and i have a question also.why did my J1 like this and why did j1 hang so much in a day? & What is the solution? No one love Samsung again pls go back to the hole u crawl from selling type of this crappy product for $85 is a rip off and I can bet anything on it samsung will soon go down like Nokia then . I can only consider this if they sell for $40 .

Mostly for tje peole who is unable to spend a lot of money for a smartphone.Every one is not capable to buy galaxy s6/s7.

Superb budget phone! It's available in Bangladesh only at 6990 taka with 1GB RAM (J105H). Overall experience is excellent considering it's a budget phone (sub $90).

Okay i know that different people different needs, i mean if this phone it's 100% not good for me (that i want only the most innovative and best of every year), it doesn't that its not good for someone else(with much less needs/expectations), but having said that, this phone seems to me that it comes from the past. I don't know why Samsung is still producing phones with VGA,etc, cameras and so on???????

This phone is good choice for mini phone lovers who like a pocket and single handed friendly phone. For simple call, text msg and whatsapps i think the specs are adequate. Good alternative choice from samsung if u dont want to spend 4x price to buy an iphone 5 just because u r dilemma to use a 5inch or bigger phones.
