Yes, I had a range issue, but software update of mb solved my problem.
Go to settings->Ablout phone->Click on Software update
Your phone may need wifi connection if wifi is selected in the settings
Must try, it works!!

i purchased this mobile three days back. i'm also facing network problem, can anyone give me the temporary solution for this? because tomorrow i have the flight. before that i have to solve this problem.

Stil problem exsist. If you go outside or roaming area.. you definitely get message not registered on network.. 100% sure

Go for Samsung j2. Samsung will surely push the biggest firmware update soon. As I got the information from their E-mail support team. So don't worry network problem will cleared by firmware update soon. Meanwhile others check your network selection mode automatic. If it's in manual mode then you will face NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK ISSUE. Others kindly check & Saumya you go for Samsung j2 without second thought.

I am very sorry to say even after update of 25 mb new firmware still having network issue in samsung j2.
If network goes down the message come.. not registered on network. . You have to restart the device..
Very very disappointing thing..
Mobile'main use is to make and receive calls but this mobile is not for calls only for internet usage because of network issue

i am planning to buy j2 today...i like the specs being offered at this price...specially lollipop 5.1.1. look is great. very stylish. but last 2days i have been doing some research, and 90% users are saying that j2 has severe network issue. suddenly i am confused. should i buy this fone or expand my budget and go for motog 3? plz help

But this mobile is cheap and best.
Only one majar draw back of network issue. It is the only one weak point of this mobile. Hope in upcoming days new firmware release to solve this issu

Bought J2 a week back. Faced network issue. Got replaced today. But even new phone also same network issue even after 63 MB firmware update.

Hi all,
I think the super amoled panel in Samsung j2 hurts my eye past one week and I found the solution for the same.
Go to play store and download lux lite application and set brightness to 14% now the eye strain completely gone..
Samsung try to give a big firmware update to solve the display issue without other third party application immediately. If all are goes blind because of the particular model means , in future no will be there to buy your product.
Need immediate intervention and invention to calibrate the display because it's full of red hue in display. Moreover icons are completely pixelated. You said it's super amoled qhd panel but icons even not as good as on j1 means Samsung j2's earlier model.
Need a big firmware update for network issues and display calibration immediately.

Just now seen your reply. I think you are right. Am always in network coverage area so that, I didn't feel the network issue. Have to check to go for some outstation and back to check the same and revert you.
But today I got the firmware update around 28mb. Kindly update and check. I have updated already.
