A good news for you i have chatted with samsung care and they have confirmed that j2 2015 model will get marshmallow update and currently developer team is working on it and will be soon available to j2 device. You will have to wait for the software update popup on your device.

After the last update the battery was draing fast but after few days the problem was solved automatically.phone new firmware needs time to adjust it self according to the usage.its working very good.paisa wasool phone.Also install Battery repair life and yellow booster it will definitely improve your phone performance.install and see at least 4 days.

Cannot do the software update....after downloading it will get shutdown and then shows INSTALLING then it shows ERROR...what to do???

After update latest software i am facing 2 problems...
1. Battery drain fast ( 3 hrs Internet use)
2. Always show "emergency calls only"(Only for my airtel)

baddest service ever in the world samsung j2.. my phone is on charging and it switch off when i on my phone it display seems to be black slowely i switch off my phone and open back side there is a mositure near camera. i went to samsug care centre they said your phone display is black due to pressure.. and phone is drop on water wowww... still my phone warenty is 2 month left but they said out oof warenty ... and say 8000 charge for display and board... so why give samsung warenty .. and scientific reason behind display black is due to phone overhaeting and (law of phyics heat travel from hot to cold state) thats way some moisture near camera. i go to consumer court.

i have the phone for about 2 months only problem am facing is that it eat battery a lot and also the phone memory is full soon not so much application but the battery down fast on it whereas it is the best samsung i have ever use the camera and also phone is not slow at all

I have taken j2 on 29august 2016 from HK MOBILE ZONE SAREENA KARACHI. I have very bad experience.just after 4days the lcd shows problem and after 2week the lcd totally disappear.I go back to shop they just refused me and said there is no warantee about the lcd and even you can't claim.what should I do I don't know.very bad experience with Samsung so hopeless.my whole money has gone.shopkeeper says it cost 8 or 9 thousand for lcd replacement. I don't know what should I do.I just lost faith on Samsung.I never like to take any appliance of Samsung.
