Open it up and look where the memory card would line up and you should see a little raised section. At least that's on the AT&T version of this phone. If you notice, this little "tab" so to speak is designed to keep the memory card from moving. I'm suspecting yours isn't present or it's not lining up right and results I your card jiggling loose and the phone thinking it's been removed and/or reinserted. Just a thought... hope it helps!
I've only had this phone for a day and I gotta admit, I kinda like it especially at around $70ish! Battery lasted great even with heavy use and updates etc... nice feel and nice expensive appearance so you don't look cheap but still have $600 in your pocket after making your purchase!

I just bought my second j3 because I broke the screen on the first and it quit working after a week. Good phone, fast internet with 4g plan...it burns through gigs if you listen to music on mobile network and make sure you "turn off background data" in settings "Data" when not using Wi-Fi. I got my phone at Verizon store, yesterday for $100 and 5 gig/4g $50 pre-paid plan. I'm searching for a screen saver now. If you break your phone, sorry to say replacement parts and costs are as much as a new phone. I've tried.

64 GB MicroSD card keeps unmounting itself. Same card worked fine on a Nokia I had. That's after reformatting on the J3. And trying a replacement J3.

Thoughts ... moreyes, its a good starter phone especially if he is wanting a newer phone like a galaxy s7. Besides the front camera, its really not a bad phone at all. You just have to remember the price of it, because for 200$ or less, you cant expect too much

I'm back again. been using the phone for a month. NO screen issues or cracks, i've even dropped it a few times. Its good phone but after changing themes I noticed the notifications aren't real time like even when wifi/mobile data is on. Unless i open the app itself whatsapp messages,email notifications etc i'm not notified anyone know how I can make it return like before
