Two years on still a great phone, good looking, full functional and internet speed. large screen and vibrant colours.
Omg guys come on, its good for the price. There is phones that costs 200 euro but still less good than this one. If you want super speed phone which can handle 1000 apps at a time buy expensive one like Samsung Galaxy S9+ and you'll be pleased with it, or not??!! There is always something bad about phone that most of you say and what about good sides?
AnonD-526321, 14 Apr 2016Dear all,
* Would like to clear all of your queries regarding j3 Based on my one week usage... moreYou first line "one week usage" makes your review worthless.
Not many issues arise in the first week, you have not used enough of the memory, not recieved enough cookies and most likely not had to update anything. The battery has not had to charge very many times, therefore it has not had a chance to over heat.
you would still have "new phone syndrome" which is something I have just made up but basically means you have the protective wrapping still on it, keep it safe from dust and don't let a single person touch it.
Keep the phone for 3- 6 months, you will see the problems..
My Galaxy J3 V would pop up with random apps when I would open the screen. Sometimes it was an app on my phone that I had never used.
Now that I have officially had it for 2 years and 2 days, it died. It required a factory reset. I lost a lot. Is it a coincidence that the phone died at the 2 year mark?
I have installed Lineage Os 14.1 and i ace android 7.1.2! Its super fast, less bloatware, same battery and better UI. Higly reccomend it!
So, are we gonna get Marshmallow or Nougat for this phone, on specifications it says that is upgradable to Nougat but 2years are gone . Why don't we have updates?
this phone is brilliant ive never had any problems I bn using over a year now and mine is second hand its fast snappy and does everything perfectly great phone
I purchased my J3 for use with my Ring Motion Security equipment. I frequently receive a message "no internet service" but my wifi is always on. I need to replace my other cell phone but Samsung is out of the question.
No signal problem happen a lot, for both sims. No more Samsung for me again.
i have a problem on wifi that's keeps obtaining ip address and refuse to connect i have tried everything assgin static ip and swift wifi on and off unplug thr battery but its the same i have even changed the modem security set it to open too but nothig?!!
StuckInFLL, 09 Jul 2018This is the worst Android device I have ever owned. It's beyond suggish. I'm hardly a power ap... morephone works great, idk what you are talking about, ive had it for 2 years and still works as new
after updating to os 7.0 customary i have been ecperiencing problems were the phone dialer has stopped working.... what can i do now?
This is the worst Android device I have ever owned. It's beyond suggish. I'm hardly a power app user. I have maybe ~10 apps I use on a regular basis.
It seems to be able to hold two apps in memory at a time. If I get an SMS while driving then Google Maps dies. I've seen the GPS simply not update until the phone is rebooted. It comes with tons of bloatware. Some of which can't even be disabled. What finally made me angry enough to post this review is that I missed a flight because the alarm (which worked okay in the past ~3 months) didn't go off. The lock screen had changed (there was no ":" character in the time anymore). I rebooted it and it worked again.
The hardware build quality is fine. It's too RAM starved though. But the software, oh, the software. I've been an Android user since the first Nexus One. I've had a few Nexus devices, an LG, and a Motorola. While they've all had some software issues in the past it's been nothing like this phone. I'm on the latest possible update but the software is still insanely buggy, slow, and basically unusable.
I've even missed a few phone calls because the phone app popped up after the call got sent to voicemail. This will be my last Samsung device ever!
