I have tried Samsung, HTC, LG, ASUS, and Motorola devices. All have their good and bad points. It is the specs you are paying for when it comes to budget phones. Lower processor speeds, less onboard memory, less RAM, lower resolution screens, lower MP cameras, etc.

When it comes to electronic devices, you get what you pay for and/or the brand does make a difference. I've played around with Lenovo, Asus, Oppo, they're all ok but when it comes down to it. I'd still choose Samsung or Apple or any of the other major brands. There is a reason why the other manufacturers can afford to sell their devices cheaper, it's because they are cheaply made.
I even played around with a Cherry Mobile Flare S4, that phone lasted me 4 months LOL.
So if you wanna save money in the long haul, buy a Samsung. Just a friendly suggestion.
