Somewhat underwhelmed by my brand-new Xperia XA1. Screen is just a tad small for me, meh performance, low-res 720p screen and a bug wherein transitioning from wifi or airplane mode to mobile data turned on the phone does not connect to my mobile network and a reboot was needed. Its an annoying bug that is giving me headaches. What can the J5 offer better than the XA1 apart from the bigger screen, bigger battery capacity and USB Type-C?

My friend just bought j5pro and it is cool since it can install 2 whatsapp app for both sim in the same time and it works properly for both sim
AnonD-674391, 20 Aug 2017If you can not afford the S8/S8+ go for the S7/S7 edge. Their price has significantly dropped.True. But in the Uk the price of the basic S8 is "only" £150-£200 more than the high-end S7. Now, if that is not a good practice of selling then I don't know what is.

And in terms of updates Samsung is slow compared to Sony and others. It's quite ironic that despite heavily skinned with still lots of bloatware the UX & UI seem a tad slower than other OEM's and yet the software is optimised which translate to excellent battery life. Why?
Gino76, 19 Aug 2017A series? No USB Type-C, no Nougat 7.1.1, no image stabilisation...still worth it then? There is USB type C on the S series 2017! and they are gonna get the Nougat update. and their price is dropping.

I bought one and for me its a great phone, for the price it has good quality build, good battery, good interface, and good performance in most games and even on the high quality ones. The only problem you might find is not having 1080p display (its not a problem for me because when you see with your own eyes it looks like a 1080p display) and not having a usb type C that is common on most high end phones. But you have to consider the price. In my opinion its good.
its build is really premium better than c series display is really even though it is 720p but really good u can see very minimal pixelization speaker quality ia really good
camera quality is really good but if u shake your hand too much them image will come out blurred
battery time is also good bcuz 720p display ,exynos chipset and 3000 mah battery makes a stunning combination
Is galaxy j5 2017 get hot like 2016? Some one who have used please help mr
