Can i downgrade my marshmallow version to lollipop version by going to samsung service center.
I bought Samsung Galaxy J7 phone in August and from few days I can see a pink line on my screen. The phone never fell down from my hand neither has any water seeped in , this pink vertical line appeared few minutes after I charged my phone. I took it to Service center where they informed they donot have the display screen and did not even acknowledge the problem with a Job sheet. Apart from all these I have also observed that the volume of the phone is really less for all J7 models. I will not recommend this phone model.
I am using this model since Feb 2016. Excellent mobile. But from few days, I am watching this command on this mobile screen "Failed to download from multi media message".

Hello.I had bought Samsung Galaxy J7(2015) in January 2016.It was a smooth ride untill Marshmallow arrived.I was getting disastrous battery life but the phone became more smooth and lag free. Then,I downgraded to 5.1.1 using Odin software because I was tired of it's low battery life. But,I missed all the new settings and faster processing of Marshmallow update.Hence,I again updated it to Android 6.0.1.Now today,I got a screen on time of 6 hours 20 mins and the battery percentage is still at 32%.Phone is very smooth with just some occasional lags(not noticeable).
CAMERA - I suggest to use 4:3 aspect ratio for better quality images as this phone has a damn awesome camera!Avoid using flash and download third party apps like Camera FV-5 for some professional shots.
No OTG support after Marshmallow update which bothers me!!
Speaker volume should have been louder but I'm used to the default volume now.
The phone does not heat up easily.
Thanks for reading my honest review.
Great Phone with good battery life,i'm enjoying it.No heating problems, display is good.Camera nice, otg supported etc

coolboy, 16 Oct 2016Samsung galaxy j7 is one of the best Smartphone Don't go with -ve user opinions,it's fabulous ... moreThank you, coolboy, for your enthusiastic comments about Galaxy J7! A friend got me one (he thought it was time I came into the real world!) - for years I'd relied on a little Nokia mobile which I thought was all I needed, but after all my data was transferred to the Samsung I HAD to learn how it worked. I panicked when I heard about the Samsung phones blowing up, but fortunately my model is ok and I'm GRADUALLY getting used to it! Remarks like yours are invaluable though!
