Secondly the change of motherboard takes times, it cannot be done within a few hours, because the motherboards of all the phones aren't readily available in the service centres, they have to order them and then they change it...

VIK, 05 Nov 2015Should i buy j7?confuse.Samsung Galaxy J7 with its price tag has proved to be a complete failure. My experience with this phone has been a complete disaster. for better assimilation I would write the sequence of events I had gone through:
(a) day - 1 : the charging of phone was erratic. within half an hour it started showing fully charged and after ten min of use was completely discharged.
(b) day - 2 : during charging it started getting luke warm to warm and then outright hot. I had to put it off the charge scared that it might explode due to heat.
(c) day - 3 : after downloading all types of cooling software which I sincerely doubt work the temperature rise showed a very minuscule improvement but a new problem started. the mobile would switch off after getting warm.
seeing the circumstances I rushed to Samsung service center and handed over the phone.
"Problem in mother board" was declared and time frame of 10 days was given to repair. Miraculously, I was informed by the service center the next day that phone is repaired and ready for collection.
the ordeal continued as the same problem started again and I had to rush to service center again.
the replacement of the phone is ruled out since that is possible only during the first week. Repair is the only option now.
so guys as you see I am stuck with SAMSUNG J7 and their service centers (the most crowded service center I have ever seen...not a very good sign...wish I had visited it before I purchased the phone).
Please don't buy J7 and after seeing the service center I would recommend don't buy any Samsung mobile phone. the golden days of complete market domination is long gone for SAMSUNG. SAMSUNG has failed on both aspect of equipment and services. I am not going to buy any of the Samsung mobile phone even if itÂ’s for free and would recommend you all to do the same.

I think its a manufacturing issue. As soon as you walk into a Samsung service centre with J7 they ask 'is it a call drop issue?' My phone is with Samsung now to sort the issue. Lets hope they can do something... My friend who bought the same phone also has the similar issue. So be a bit cautious if you want to buy new J7

for me the phone switches off after 15-20 min as soon as the battery reaches 15%
I bought galaxy j7 a month ago . I really like this phone this phone hai superb battery backup and stunning camera perfomance i preffer to guys to buy galaxy j7 it is good but it has 1 problem the towch wiz UI was taking lot of ram 1.5 gb of ram total but the touch wiz UI eats lot of ram only maximum 400mb ram was freed it was effect the multitasking but next update fix these problems .. so i preffered galaxy j7
