trajcevasilev94, 13 Oct 2017If the voltage is stuck how do i get to charge my phone fully on 100% battery???phone show 100% but real charge level is 90-92%
check this way:
connect charger and when phone show 100%, check battery voltage from a software or by type this code in dialpad *#0228#
in my phone, it never went above 4.345v in marshmallow, it was 4.442v
I tested another J7 with Nougat, it is same issue.
I don't have any battery and charging issues, everything is fine with this device at me.I can truly say that Android Nougat has really improved battery life and fixed many issues that were existant in Android Marshmallow.
And this comment is not a joke.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2017Will you received updates from Samsung anymore when you root the phone?Never...once you are rooted, or even flashed a custom recovery like TWRP, Samsung detects it as a modified system, and your debarred from any further OTA updates. But as I mentioned before, I don't want OTA updates, as they always tends to create issues, even if you make a hard reset after each and every update, problem may pursue (Just like people are complaining about this N update). But a clean installation always has less problems. So no, I don't want OTA updates. I will rather wait for a full updated firmware and flash it through Odin after making a clean format.
AnonD-707537, 12 Oct 2017Since the past month I have reading here comments about bugs in Nougat update, mostly related ... morefriend, can you post basic tutorial and download link for softwares need to root the J710FN in Nougat
Since the past month I have reading here comments about bugs in Nougat update, mostly related to battery drain or charging issue/false charging. It's more than a month now that I am using the Nougat firmware, but never experienced any such issue. While in MM my battery would serve upto 42+ hrs, while with the same usage it now goes upto 41+ hrs. It takes less than 3hrs to charge fully. I don't think it is an issue at all. So what I did?
1. I didn't performed the OTA update, just waited for the full firmware to be released.
2. After I got the firmware I completed erased the internal memory through TWRP, that means no OS remained installed.
3. Flashed the firmware through Odin.
4. Flashed TWRP again. Rooted the phone. Removed bloatwares and bang!
So basically it was a clean install. Those who are facing issues, maybe you can try this method. Thanks.
Still no Nougat in Croatia. I'm really, really dissapointed with the Samsung update speed. I had some lower end LG phone before this one, and it was updated from Lollipop to Marshmallow in a few months since Marshmallow was released. I mean, I don't mind running a bit older version, but they should really start caring about updating their lower end and midrange devices. Oreo is already out, and we are still on damn Marshmallow. I just feel like they are too greedy, and forcing us to buy S series or Note, just to get updates. It really sucks, I must say.
puspita, 10 Oct 2017I have a problem with my phone.... dnt knw why .. battery charged 92% and then stop charg... moreSame problem.
When charging at first, its fast and ok. Til reach 50% and it stops. But i didnt take the charger off, after 30mins. Its still at 5+%.
What i did is i took the battery off the phone and bring it back again after a minute. When it opens, the battery was 90%.
So what u have to do is turn off ur phone, take out the battery and bring it back in a minute.
My battery is brand new original anyway.
I think its a bug issue from naugat update. Hope they fix this soon.
AnonD-663653, 11 Oct 2017Please help..which one to choose?..j7 16 or redmi note 4 or moto g5 plus?If ur budget tight N want big brand for long usage Go for Galaxy J76......
