AnonD-682969, 25 Oct 2017i only have one question: are you still able to move apps to sd like in marshmallow?Android versions do not matter if this phone had an SD Card support, which means that you will be able to move apps to SD card no matter what Android are you on.
AnonD-682969, 25 Oct 2017i only have one question: why is better now with android 6 instead of android 7?My experience after Nougat
Mine is SM J710FN Indian duel sim model. Big problem is with the battery drain , I don't use wi-fi , on 4g with good signal, no problems on idle time but during browsing or downloading, battery life decreases quickly. Then the dialer is little bit slow or unresponsive. Bezel is warmer during browsing. Because of these issues, at least for me, I did a factory reset ...but that doesn't make any changes. After few days received another update of about 33/34 mb, which I installed and did a reset. Nothing special.... Someone said that I have got a faulty product, maybe be or may not be, but it was perfect with marshmallow. So I decided to downgrade. Right now I have 48% battery with 4 hours 35 minutes SOT(11 hours 50 minutes on battery)
This is my experience... Sorry for my bad English

AnonD-710395, 24 Oct 2017I am from Romania too. I have not received the android 7 version yet :( smj710fnDid you buy the Romanian phone on the official channel? And mine is J7 2016 FN (single sim) and it is bought from Romania and the update to 7.0 Nougat came on 19 October 2017 and had 1003.10 MB. Everything works well, but it looks like the battery is down a bit faster than Android 6.0.1

AnonD-466728, 24 Oct 2017how u downgraded to older version ?Please check older posts
Even if we get Oreo, it will be in a year or so. I still did not even get Nougat, so I don't have so high hopes for Oreo.

I'm not sure whether I should simply go back to Marshmallow or should I wait for Samsung to roll out 7.1.1. but then, I don't even know if (and when) we're going to get 7.1. The question is, If do update to 7.1 (when it comes out), can I still go back to Marshmallow If I don't like it? Would it still be possible?

That apart, I honestly don't think it has any other (real) advantages over J7 2016, apart from the fact that it's pricier ;) Yes, it has a 1080p display, a fingerprint sensor, and all that. But J7 2016's display isn't bad by any stretch of imagination. In fact, it's got a gorgeous display. I can wager that you'll love it, once you get used to it, you won't need a full HD display. The most important thing is, both have the same Exynos 7870 processor. To me, a smartphone isn't much of an upgrade unless it has a faster CPU. That's my opinion. Having said that, J7 pro is a gorgeous phone, it has a very good camera. Must point out that J7 2016 has a very capable camera.
So unless you're looking for a better camera, a fingerprint sensor, I think J7 2016 should serve you well. As far as my personal opinion goes, J716 is a really good phone.
Bottom line - Choice is yours :)
Yeah, you can't really go wrong with any of them. J7 2016 is still a great device, but 2017 beats it in one more GB of RAM, metal body and full hd screen. Everything else is almost the same. If you can go for newer one, or even J7 Pro as someone said already here.
