I keep my phones in rigid cases all the time. The only part I see in all my phones I had is the display. HD display is more than enough for me and for a human eye unless you keep the phone glued to your eyes. Camera makes no difference to me, I would buy a phone with 8 MP. These are my OWN cravings, and this is my own personality. Among all phones made by all phone companies around the world today, J7 Duo is the only phone that fulfills my needs. there's not alternatives WHATSOEVER!

Then at Rs 13000 there are alternatives to this, for these reasons it's fair criticism this phone is getting, some of it anyways.
I would easily prefer a 720P AMOLED display than a 1080p no real blacks LCD, very few mid range phones are AMOLED, With LCD if by any chance you are hit by light bleeding it's going to be terrible for movies and such, As for the price, it will come down buy it then.
Rishabh, 22 Oct 2018Why flashlight of j7 duo is yellow :-( Somebody please help and clarify..Low light pictures come out bluish with a straight white led, with that slightly yellow led pictures come out warm and natural.
Based on my budget and preference, when I buy a phone in 2018, it must have the following specs:
1. Made in 2018 and equipped with the latest Android version.
2. Has a removable battery with power not less than 3000mAh.
3. Has a physical Home Button.
4. Has a display not less than 5 inches.
5. Has a screen resolution not less than 720x1280 pixels.
6. Has a RAM not less than 3GB.
7. Has an internal storage not lest than 32GB.
8. Has an FM radio.
9. Has an LED flash.
10. Has a 3.5MM Audio Jack.
11. Has a Main/Selfie Cameras not less than 8 MP.
12. Price is not more than 250 EUR.
Among all phones made by all phone companies around the world today, this is the only phone that fulfills my mentioned preferences above, and it's made by Samsung. So, I simply purchased it. It's all about my personal needs and preferences.
SO STOP CRITICIZING SAMSUNG FOR GRANTING MY NEEDS AND PREFERENCES!
Too many stupid people in the comments criticizing Samsung for making a MED-RANGE phone that does not comply with ALL their PERSONAL cravings!
lato, 03 Oct 2018what is the processor of j7 duo sell in offline market? is it exynos 7885 or exynos 7884 or ex... moreIt uses Exynos 7885 with downclocked Kyro cores. (from 2.2 ghz to 1.6 ghz, 2x kyro cores clocked at 1.6 ghz and 6x cortex a53 cores clocked at 1.6 ghz) Considering the soc is 14nm and screen is 720p, it shouldn't overheat and deliver a bad gaming performance. Also, its battery should last long by looking at the on-paper specs of the device)
Samsung, 15 Dec 2018At this price point every phone is providing 1080pBut, those 1080p phones use IPS panels that can't deliver the same quality with Super AMOLED screens although having twice as many as pixels compared to 720p. Also, IPS uses more energy and has much lower contrast compared to Super AMOLED screens. Also, lower resolution is generally good enough for daily use and increases battery life.
It is one of the best Samsung phones considering its reasonable price. You have a Super AMOLED screen with deep blacks, very high brightness, punchy colors, good sunlight legibility and good viewing angles. (At least J7 2015 has a that good screen and these two devices probably use the same screen) 5.5 inc screen size is ideal and you don't realise slightly low 720p resolution in daily use. The design is the classical and practical Samsung design. There is a screen with 16:9 ratio. Below the screen, there is a physical home button and two capacitive buttons. (recent apps and back buttons) On the back, there is a 13mp main camera and a 5mp depth sensing camera which is good for daily use. (Main camera is probably same with J7 2015) But don't expect a great performance because it lacks OIS and main sensor resolution isn't 16mp or above. There is the single led flash on the left and there is a mono speaker on the right of the rear camera setup. On the front, there is a 8mp mixed focus selfie camera and led flash which should be good for selfies. Thanks to the low screen resolution, 14nm chipset, lacking most of the sensors, its AMOLED screen and 3000mah, this phone's battery lasts very long. This phone should be able to deliver a good gaming performance because its chipset is 14nm, includes 2x kyro core (unfortunately, kyro cores were downclocked from 2.2 ghz to 1.6 ghz) and uses mali g71-mp2 gpu (but the gpu has only two cores rather than 16 cores found in flagship level exynos chipsets using mali g71 gpu) It doesn't have a ambient light sensor but this is a good thing. Because, instead of auto, there is a outdoors button on the brightness slider and pressing this button directly activates the peak brightness) It also has a fingerprint sensor, removable battery, headphone jack and expandable storage.
NickTheDude, 30 May 20187885 is not old chipset Yes, 7885 is not old chipset.
