Danny , 22 Jun 2017J7 Prime is sold in the U.S. Where did you get that info that itÂ’s not? It is confirmed that J7 prime is not sold officially in USA. Among J7, there are only two models available in USA, they are J7 2015 & J7 Perx. Perx is not prime. Perx is a completely different model.
AnonD-678333, 22 Jun 2017And what about mediatek processor... Good or bad from j7 prime processor...Mediatek MT6757 Helio P20 is better than Exynos 7870. Different websites show different details about Helio P20. If you want accurate information, go to official websites of Mediatek or Samsung, or even you can check with Sony Xperia XA1 & XA1 ultra. They also equip the same chipset Helio P20.

AnonD-678957, 21 Jun 2017I am planning to purchase J7 prime so that I can use it in India and the US. Is it a wise idea... moreJ7 prime is not officially sold in USA. If you carry it from India, definitely you will face the connectivity problems related to 4g. J7 prime supports the following 2g & 3g frequency bands of USA, but not 4g.
The following frequency bands are primarily used in USA:
2g GSM 850, 1900.
3g UMTS 850, 1900, 1700.
4g LTE 1700, 1900.
And to avoid the REGION LOCK, make sure that you use the device for a certain period of time in India.
AnonD-678957, 21 Jun 2017I am planning to purchase J7 prime so that I can use it in India and the US. Is it a wise idea... moreJ7 prime supports a wide range of bands including 2G/3G/4G. So, you should not face any network issue using both Indian and US SIM cards. I heard lot about Matrix SIM cards which are used in different countries. So you can use those SIMs also. Anyway make sure you buy a 32 GB version at least
As for other devices you can try J7 (2016) ( if you want to use a Super Amoled with NFC) or J7 Max (New series) or J7 Pro (I think it is little costlier). Regards.
I am planning to purchase J7 prime so that I can use it in India and the US. Is it a wise idea?
Are there any criteria to check? Please suggest some phones so that I can use it in the US as well within INR 15k
I am planning to buy Samsung Galaxy J7 prime so that I can use it in the US as well.

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2017But it has only 16 gb internal memory.. when J7 2017 launched in india ?????If you prefer more storage, go for J7 pro / J7 max. Samsung has launched 3 models with J7 prefix. 2017, pro & Max. J7 max already being displayed in Samsung Indian website. It will take a week or two for it to reach the retailers.
Anonymous, 21 Jun 2017But it has only 16 gb internal memory.. when J7 2017 launched in india ?????Go for J7 Pro, It has 64 GB Internal Storage
Rahman, 16 Jun 2017I brought a mobile from soudi Arab but I'm in bangladesh. there are asking for network puk cod... moreIt is not network puk code, it is REGION LOCK, it is common for all Samsung phones. According to REGION LOCK, the phone & the sim card has to be of the same region/country. Go to any Samsung service center and they will open the lock for you. This is your only solution.
J7 prime can not handle heavy games even if rooted. J7 2016 can handle because the same GPU is providing only a HD resolution to the display, not FHD like J7 prime. Therefore the GPU still has got enough capacity to render heavy games. Here RAM doesn't matter, it is the work load of GPU matters.
