AnonD-542833, 08 May 2017You should talk to your service provider customer care. In India it is mostly "0000". But not ... moreI just bought my j7 prime but a little disappointed because I can't use a screenshot though i used the powerkey or homekey.. others features were okey except that one, I hope you could help me , thanks
I just need an honest user review. I am planning to buy a new phone . These are the smartphones that were recommended that fits my budget: Lenovo K5 note, Lenovo K6 note, Vivo V5 Lite, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and Oppo F1s.
I don't consume much of my time on gaming, perhaps 1-2 hrs is okay. I listen to music and download a lot and I love downloading apps and customizing. Not fun of selfie but I like taking pictures too but not doing this many times in a day.
Any recommendation or suggestion is highly appreciated.
Thank you all!
It is worst in gaming permomance but nice phone best camera with best quality and it is cheap so .
Best phone ever used great in gaming, no lags, great camera shot, superb sound quality, super long battery life, superb build quality, fast internett just speechless. Best phone in price category must have and try. Worth the money people.
While the competitors are busy in adding on advanced features, Samsung couldn't even think of giving the Screenshot option, the way you can take screenshot so smoothly just by taping that option e.g in a Lenovo Vibe S1. There is no dedicated screenshot option in this phone. You have to manually press the power and home key button as the old age phones. Screenshot is so highly used. There should be an option rather than aiming at 2 buttons everytime to take a screenshot.
This review is only for the look and feel of the phone. Who says the build quality is nice. As per my experience, the phone look is just regular and average at this price range. You won't feel it a new phone when you receive the phone esp. the Gold one. Anyone going to buy this phone, please don't go for the Gold color phone as you won't feel it a new phone. In this competitive market, while other competitors are focusing on creating something different, Samsung should also make the look better so that the word "wow" comes up when someone buys it. You would surely not get the wow factor when you see this phone. As I said, this is only for the look and feel of the phone at this price range. Black is little better. To conclude, you won't feel "wow" to see the phone but the hardware/specification is very good.

J7 prime is not a variant of On7 Pro but it is also known as On Nxt. But still J7 Prime has far better feature than On Series and support better feature like Knox, S Folder, S Secure along with LED notification. Also I want to inform you that I have an On7 Pro which looks more like a early Samsung Note, it is also a capable device but on its own league. I use many of the apps on both the devices, but still J7 Prime is my work mate and On7 Pro is play mate (music/videos). Regards.
Elysian, 08 May 2017does j7 prime will get 7.0 update ?Staring from July this year every device in J series (2016) get Andorid 7 or Noughet update. Regards.

amunro, 06 May 2017Had an original J7 which has an amoled screen and the big disappointment is the screen on the ... moreJ7 prime is also called On7 2016
J7 prime is essentially the exynos variant of on7 2016
Cant really call it bad considering that it comes from the On series
All j series phones generally have amoled displays
J max again is a rebranded tab a 7.0 2016
Anonymous, 07 May 2017Is multiwindow supported in this phone...No multiwindow support
But maybe in the future yes when it gets nougat
Just got this phone after swapping my iPhone 5s and I am satisfied in general.
Insane battery life-I am getting 5-6hrs screen on time with Wifi and low brightness. While 4hrs on LTE
Camera-With the f/1.9 being impressive in low-light,less grains.
Software-Less bugs, get frequent updates, not the same old Touchwiz looks
Fast charging-Though fast charging is not supported. It charges pretty well on a 5v/2a regular Samsung charger from my S Duos 2
Vibrant display-Just because its not Amoled doesn't mean it sucks.Colors appear to be more natural and not oversaturated.
Temprature-It doesn't heat up a lot.Thanks to 7870 being efficient
Body Build-Finally Samsung thought about it
Fingerprint-not really accurate.I had to register the same thumb 3x to get it more accurate
Front facing camera-Overexposed sometimes, especially when Beauty mode is turned on.
Heavy-Can be very hard to use in one hand
Short wifi range-It has about 15% less range than most smartphones today.
Home button very tactile-Button is on the heavier side.
Gyroscope-Samsung will have to remove basic sensors on mid-range devices
Summary:I usually hate Samsung devices to be overpriced while having a cheap material. But for the J7 prime I am impressed with the overall performance and battery efficiency. Its not that costly too.But in common comparison with the price range.I would go with the Honor 6x/GR5 2017.
I got para from a Mi Note 4 user who sold his device after one month. Here is his words. So, stop curing J7 Prime or any other device. Every device has its own pros and cons like each of us.
Honor 6x users please answer
1. Is Huweai Honor release security patch update frequently/monthly for 6X in india?
2. Loudspeaker performance while playing Music and ringtones volume for incoming calls.
3. Battery backup for moderate users.
4. Low light and day light photography performance.
5. Heating issues.
6. Build quality of mobile.
I think- monthly updates should given by Honor also Like Xiomai gives updates every months to its mobiles like Redmi Note 4 and Mi Max. I used Redmi Note 4 and Mi Max. I sold out Redmi note 4 after one month of its use. Please answer . As I plan buy Honor 6x. Am I in right direction?
my cell j7 prime hanged 2nd time .then till battery shut down it will be hanged .haven't seen this type of hell phone in my life.please don't buy
J7prime is best in all respects no issue good camera and other funtion
Anonymous, 08 May 2017you shut up !! I think you are the one haven't used this phone , in deed this phone lags on games Guys please cool down and chill. Do not heat up in these got weather. We are here to talk and help each other about use of J7 Prime. As for gaming I already said many times that J7 Prime is not a heavy gaming device and Snapdragon/Adreno combination is the best. If you need a reliable device to handle all your normal day to day task than J7 Prime is the best. But if you need a device to play "Dead Trigger", "Asphalt 8", "Fifa" for hours than definitely you should avoid J7 Prime. Even I am thinking to get an Snapdragon/Adreno device to continue to play "Real Racing 3" and "Need For Speed: No Limit". Anyway I hope everything is settle down and this discussion is over here. Regards.
