The SD 625 on Motorola moto Z,asus series and C series from Samsung is smooth and far better than Exynos. That's why SD 625 is popular to be used.It outbeats Mediatek helio x20 and 25 and it's equal to them.It also has great battery performance and it's better than the Exynos.
And Samsung always had great displays and audio,i can't argue with that.
anonymous, 22 Feb 2017Thanks a lot gadget zone PH...another thing I'd like to know is about the screen quality...how... moreI have 3 galaxy phones in home with different screens. One J7 Prime (PLS TFT), A5 (2016) (Super Amoled) and On7 Pro (TFT). I hardly notice any major difference in colours in them. I also worked in colour in digital media professionally for few years and for me Conor is very exciting. Anyway all of the my devices can play HD videos and as I say you will not notice any major difference. But a Super Amoled screen cost a lot than the PLS TFT/TFT both in price and repair. Unless you are very particular about display than PLS TFT is good for you.

Both of them works pretty well and really a good phones to ever have in the midrange phone of Samsung.

Exynos 7870 Octa is way much better than SD615/625. Why? It prevents fast battery drainage and improve GPU performance as a whole. I've had my J7 2016 and J7 Prime and they have no difference at all whether on the performance or audio, or visual. It's jus the body that changed and some additional features.
It always depends on the user's end; not on the gadget itself.

There's NO DIFFERENCE on Samsung Galaxy J7 2016's chipset to its successor, J7 Prime. They BOTH use Exynos 7870 Octa as their global variant.
They only use the SD625 for their US variant only.

Anonymous, 22 Feb 2017The j7 prime have front camera ????Of course.
Towards the end of 2010 Samsung Electronics introduced Super PLS (Plane-to-Line Switching) with the intent of providing an alternative to the popular IPS technology which is primarily manufactured by LG Display. It is an "IPS-type" panel technology, and is very similar in performance features, specs and characteristics to LG Display's offering. Samsung adopted PLS panels instead of AMOLED panels, because in the past AMOLED panels had difficulties in realizing full HD resolution on mobile devices . PLS technology was SamsungÂ’s wide-viewing angle LCD technology, similar to LG DisplayÂ’s IPS technology.
Samsung claimed the following benefits of Super PLS (commonly referred to as just "PLS") over IPS:
Further improvement in viewing angle
10 percent increase in brightness
Up to 15 percent decrease in production costs
Increased image quality
Hi there people, i am considering getting the j7 prime but i have a few questions....how is the phone with regards to not being able to move apps from internal to memory? is it a major setback if just having 16GB internal? is the phone able to set up memory card as primary storage for. storing future apps or is it just for pictures, mp3's and videos? How is the camera quality with both cameras? i have seen mixed reviews with regards to that. I'm considering either this or p9 lite....any help with be highly appreciated.
