MSG4ENTERPRISE, 15 Sep 2017I got my Galaxy J7 Prime SM-G610F with product code (CSC) XSG which is for SM-G610F from Unite... moreI was able to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime to Nougat 7.0 via Odin like I said I would in my previous comment. The upgrade was successful, didn't take up to 25 minutes to complete. After upgrade, all my previous installed apps still functioned properly. The UI is fantastic. It's a light OS which answers to the improved performance of the phone. I read here of users having trouble with battery after upgrade. I don't know why but mine charges speedily to 100% full. The only demerit I observed was all my apk files refused to install, giving me the error message "THERE IS A PROBLEM PARSING THE PACKAGE". After a little research, I was able to fix it by going into Settings, Apps, Tap on the 3 vertical dots on the top right hand corner, then tap on RESET APP PREFERENCES. With this done, I could install all my downloaded apk files without issue. Hope this helps anyone having similar issue after upgrade. Thanks.

About 7-8 hrs ... moreFriend previously my phone was taking 2.5 hr to charge 0 to 100 percent....now in tge same time it is charging 91 percent and not charging further. Samsung will solve thus problem. Otherwise phone is working perfectly fine.

For best results do a hard reset and install /set everythhing fresh. If you can do it by yourself than do otherwise take some professional help.

I'm not a single person to face this issue..N... moreI have not said that the issue is not there. But said that my device has no issue like that first. And second you should check the battery usage of your device. After upgrading many old apps creates problems like battery draining, crashing, freezing etc. So it is best to check your device first, second update all your apps, remove any unused apps third. It is the best to format the device and make a fresh start. Small example, I don't use Google TV and Movies, so I disable it. But it showed time to time that "Google TV and Movies is stopped error" in marshmallow OS in both my J7 Prime and On7 Prime. After the Nouget update, it is not there on my J7 Prime, but hunting me on my On7 pro.
Last but least, if my device take 9 long hours to charge, than I will immediately visit the nearest Samsung Service Cetre for assistance. And please don't call me "dude or mate", Kuanl will be enough. Regards.

Even though all other things are fantastic..No words for new touchwiz UI..Its simply awsome ..Thumbs up for Samsung..

Good day. You can check it on sammobile then just type the model # and I think India ksa uae are countries available for nougat firmware. Just follow the instructions for flashing your j7 prime. Good luck.

I can see many who are complaining about slow charging issue after nouget update.
I think samsung will going to solve this issue in near future.

Raj, 15 Sep 2017Yes! 7.0 Nougat update has made phone amazing but charging has become damn slow. Now it says 9... more9 hours is too long. Mine take about 3 hours to from 0 to 100 % which is normal for a 3300 MiH battery.
As for you it is too much. You should "hard reset" the device first. Than install all your essential apps. Than use it for few days to see any different. I am sure it will make difference. But if you still have this issue, than visit a Samsung service centre to solve it.
Since day 1 my J7 Prime battery is charged to 100%. Also my other device On7 Pro is charging to 100%. And my father's A5((2016) and J Max Tab doing the same.
But I notice few users are complaining that their devices are only charging to 91% including J7 Prime and A5 (2016). This is very strange as I knew that Samsung has only limited the charging level of Note 7 (which has faulty) battery to 91% for safety reasons. Other that model no model was infected.
Last but not least please please use only the official Samsung battery charger to charge your device. Regards.
