J7 prime can not handle heavy games even if rooted. J7 2016 can handle because the same GPU is providing only a HD resolution to the display, not FHD like J7 prime. Therefore the GPU still has got enough capacity to render heavy games. Here RAM doesn't matter, it is the work load of GPU matters.

I am not very sure but apps, specially background running a... moreMr. Kunal, you can NEVER play heavy games on J7 prime because technically the GPU decides the gaming performance of any device. The GPU here is already overloaded as it providing a FHD resolution to the display. So it has very little power left for the other tasks like rendering games.

Anonymous, 19 Jun 2017Which phone is better near 15k range ???It depends on you usage. If you are normal to moderate user who spends time in office and uses his device for work than to for a ExyNos/mediatek combo like J7 Prime, J7 (16), Honor 6x etc. They can handle multi tasking, have long battery life and less heating issues.
But if you are a student who read less and plays hard than go for Snapdragon/Adreno combo like Mi Note 4. These devices can handle high graphics games, but battery life is poor and sometimes heats up very much.
Anyway visit a nearby multi brand store or Samsung store (if you are a galaxy fan); than take a demo of some of the devices under your budget. Then but the one which you think suits your usage type. Regards.
saleable, 19 Jun 2017its huge !LOL. Galaxy S8+ is huge.
Anonymous, 20 Jun 2017Best between j7 prime OR j7 2017 OR moto mMOTO M is a joke. Just check its thread here and you will know why users hates it. Between J7 Prime and J7 (2017) you can choose J7 Prime, if you need longer battery life, a LED, fingerprint sensor and few small useful features. Also it will get Nouget in few weeks. As for J7 (2017) it will be upgraded version of J7 (2016) with better specs and price. So it should also be a good choice.
Anyway try a demo on local shop and buy the one which you like best. I went to buy J5/J7 and than finish with J7 Prime after taking a demo. I am very happy and satifiedwith it. Regards.
IZZAH, 20 Jun 2017My Mobile data is not working. It automatically stop service even the logo appears. Same with ... moreI think you get a fake model. Because I have never seen any user with network issues here. Check your device whether it is original or not. If original than visit nearby Samsung service center.
Anonymous, 20 Jun 2017J7 prime does not have backlit. You should get used to it. Am used to it now but a bit disappo... morePersonally I don't like backlit buttons. I have 3 galaxy for me without backlit buttons and father have A5 which have backlit. It is gis first so i cgoose that model. As for me I never see where are those keys as my finger is used to it. And specially in night the backlit buttons looks too distracting. Last but not least every time they lits they consums lot to battery. I am sure any galaxy user who is using Galaxy devices for last 4/5 years will not ask for funky backlit buttons.
