Jerin, 17 Jul 2018My phones gets off when the charge is 30% and after plugging to charger it starts with 0% char... moreMy dad had this happen on both the last phones he has had and his current tablet. He either would not fully charge it when he first purchases them or removes the charger too early on the first charge. All 3 times i have fully fixed it by running the battery to nothing and then charging it to 100% fully charged. It should in short 'guild' your battery to where it should be at 100%. It's most likly reading 70% as if it were 100%. I hope this made sense or helped.
My phones gets off when the charge is 30% and after plugging to charger it starts with 0% charge . How can i resolve this issue?
Whenever I umlock my phone by swiping it opens browser how to get rid of this issue ? Any one please guide.
Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well. As for me, I was little busy with my some real issues with my life. So, I was absent from the Forums.
Anyway, there is a good news and a bad news from me.
The bad news is my 17 months old J7 Prime died on 8th July. I was playing some games and it got a black screen of death. This is the second time it happened to me. A few weeks ago, it happened the first time and I have to press "Volume down"+ "Power" button to disengage the battery and do a soft boot. That time it worked. But this time nothing worked, I pressed every button on every possible way. But it didn't work this time. So I visited the service center after a day and checked my device. They told me both motherboard and display unit is dead, and there is nothing they can do except changing them with a new one which will cost 9000/- Indian Rupees or 128 American dollars. The deal is not good for me, as first there are some good new better devices there in that price like Honor 7A etc and the second thing is the 16 GB ROM is filling up and I have to juggle between my important apps which were a pain. So, I decided to say sayonara to that old but beloved reliable device. As for the damage, I felt regret as I was using a tough rubberized back cover from last 7/8 months with it and like other plastic devices of mine like On7 Pro and S7392; it fell from my hand because of my stupidity, bad luck or carelessness.
Enough of the bad news. So, now time for the good news.
The good news is after a couple of days of research I have chosen 2 new devices to replace my old dead device. First on is J6 and the second one is J7 Prime 2. I bought the second as it is 1000/- cheaper than the J6 and 4000/- then the J7 Prime. Also, it has all the great features of J7 Prime plus 32 GB ROM+ 13 MP front camera+ Face recognization unlock feature+ Brixby Home + Smart Things app and lots of small new features. So, from now I will be active in J7 Prime 2 forums.
So, the lesson I learned 1) Never use a tough rubberized back cover again
2) a metal body device can be damaged more than a plastic body phone
3) Don't repair a dead device, but replace it with new cheaper but powerful device.
