Updated my J7 Pro. Already updated to Oreo 8.1 and checked and there was a 190MB+ update. Seems to have improved on the app switching problem. It no longer stutters as much during transition. This seems to be a problem with every 8.1 Oreo Samsung device I have tried, but this latest update seems to have smooth it out a bit eventhough it's still noticable at times.
Other than that, everything else seems smoother and faster.
ushioo, 14 Oct 2018HELP!!!
should i upgrade my J7Pro to A6+? i really like my J7Pro's camera but i want infini... moreIts is like a j7 pro 's upgrade...same built quality
Camera is awesome with the same battery backup
U can feel the a6+ like j7 pro
I updated mine I think last month, its the 900mb something. no bugs , I don't understand people here in the Philippines having a problem on the touch and some bugs , but I never encounter any single problem, My j7 pro is 32gb 3gb
Im from the Philippines, I updated my j7 pro to oreo 8.1 and I never encounter any single problem. working fine, working smooth, full screen camera option, many features on the camera love it, worth the upgrade, no changes in battery life still solid. worth to buy
Abdoroid, 18 Oct 2018To Thedarksider . What is your thone model please ? mine is a galaxy j7 pro and i haven't changed the screen or the front panel of my phone.
To TheDarkSider re Oreo update. yup. your right about problems encountered in Oreo especially if you have a broken lcd. If you change it to a new lcd with oreo version in it, touchscreen is not functional. you have to flash a touch file in order for the touch panel aka digitizer to function. better stick to nougat yet, and wait for an updated Oreo version.
Im from the Philippines and i got the first oreo update which came around 900mb but I didnt update the phone due to some negative feedbacks about the screen no longer working and the camera and stuff. Then , couple of days after , the update just went away and disappeared. Maybe Samsung removed it because of the negative feedbacks. Now , I just noticed the update came back and now its 1Gb something and Im still waiting for some feedbacks about it. Any thoughts , comments or feebacks people?
Anonymous, 15 Oct 2018this phone still good to buy brand new now..?It's the only 2017 leftover that's still being sold that I see. Main reason is battery life. It's powered by the same CPU as J6 and A6, FHD screen, and slashed price tag, it's still worth a buy. But my current preference would have to be the new A7.
