harlekkin, 18 Jun 201420Mpx camera but only 8GB onboard memory? Really?! MicroSD card slots are a nightmare and slow... moreI have had a Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom now for almost a year wwith 64Gb Sd card. SD card no problem at all but I agree that 8G memory is too small (for apps).
Dear GSM Arena Team, please do a full review of the camera, the pivotal role of this phone, thank you..

just got the phone for the past 12 hours. i am a happy customer. . . finally giving my iPhone 5s a rest. the pics are superb i love the 10x optical zoom. thank you samsung switch for easily transferring my iCloud details to my K zoom. the screen is just perfect in size ... handling of pages and even text messaging is better than the s4 zoom. truly looking forward to greater pics... will figure out what the hexacore and ultimate power saving are all about later on. how i wish they made the batt at least 4000mAh! :D
harlekkin, 18 Jun 201420Mpx camera but only 8GB onboard memory? Really?! MicroSD card slots are a nightmare and slow... moreEhen I am Able to Shoot at 6.5 frames per second sich an old sandisk extreme iii CF card wich got about 20mp per second... TThan everything is possible sich anysd card that got Mord than 10mb per second...i think the Samsung camera will not Shoot that fast... So no trouble...
And ofcourse 8gb oft memmory is enough for a 20MP camera...i USS a 2GB card in my dslr^^ thats about 400 pictures By 10.2 MP
20Mpx camera but only 8GB onboard memory? Really?! MicroSD card slots are a nightmare and slow down the performance quite significantly, especially when you look at a 3-4 MB file, or trying to load an entire gallery.

Does anyone know if the K zoom supports the screen swipe feature to capture images viewed on the screen. My note 2 does and I want to change to k zoom if it also supports it.
comming soon???
One more day, GSMARENA still does not offer us a review about this K ZOOM, and does not offer any news about the sale of this phone when there are many people who have purchased it. And still no change the status of this phone in their specifications. As always GSMarena continues to refuse to provide us any information on this Samsung Galaxy K ZOOM.
GSMArena thank you very much, great job!!

balpol, 11 Jun 2014Nice phone but screen display is not 1080p ¬ water proof optical zoom is not 21xYour comments are unreasonable. Firstly the display doesn't need to be more than 720p with that screen size, it looks really sharp trust me. The screen size is also ideal for a camera/phone combo. Any bigger and it becomes unwieldy. Also the camera isn't waterproof, how could it be with all the mechanical parts. It's not an underwater shooter. Finally 10x Zoom is about the maximum without creating an enormous phone with a bulky body. Also it has kept the cost down. I think it's perfect.
Zooming:
I don't want to pinch display for zooming because at long focus i will then heavyly shake picture.
I don't want to zoom with volume buttons since when using something to stabilize it will often push button and make unwanted zooming.
It was perfectly solved in the S4 zoom with the ring around objective giving me a feel of systemcamera usage.
Parctical usage:
I want to be sure i dont drop camera. Espesially when zooming.
It was solved perfectly in S4zoom with the thicker side giving a perfect grip slightly hanging in my fingers.
So, why on earth have they removed the major two things making the device practical and useful and making me wanna buy a GalaxyZoom:
the focus ring,
and the grip ?????
The device is a masterpiece. it hits Nigeria next week.
can't wait to get my hands on it.
