Samsung Android Rumors

A Samsung device sporting model designation SM-M025F - and believed to be the Galaxy M02 - has appeared on Geekbench with Android 10, 3GB RAM, and a Qualcomm chipset.

Samsung Galaxy M02 visits Geekbench

Last week, SM-M025F and SM-A025F - which is said to be the Galaxy A02 - were spotted on Bluetooth SIG's website. Both phones were listed in the same document, suggesting they could well be the same phone launching under different names in different markets.

The SM-A025F also visited Geekbench last month with Android 10, 2GB RAM, and a Qualcomm chipset, which is rumored to be the Snapdragon 450 SoC.

The rest of the rumored specs of the Galaxy A02 include a 5.7" HD+ display, 3,500 mAh battery, 8MP selfie camera, and dual camera setup on the back comprising a 13MP primary and 2MP depth sensor units.

There's no word yet from Samsung about the Galaxy A02 and M02, but seeing how these phones have been certified by a few regulatory authorities already, it shouldn't be too long before the South Korean tech giant makes them official.

We should rather be encouraging the use of a modern SoC All new 4G smartphones with Qualcomm SoC should ideally only use the following depending on the device's budget: SD439 SD460 SD662 SD665 SD670 SD675 SD720G SD730G SD732...

In 2020 2GB RAM is now low for mainstream Android, that is why Google updated AndriodGo specification to include 2GB RAM. Also, a more recent/modern SoC should've been used, either SD439 or SD460 depending on the budget for the device.
