Well.everything a bout this phone is what i expected. A plus battery naturally, very bright screen with vibrant colours thanks to that 1080p amoled panel etc. Buuuut... Ive been facing serious cellular range issues. It never fills up the bar. Stops working for no reason whilst showing a 4g signal. The cellular range fluctuates all the time. And i know this is an issue with the phone because i compared it against a nokia 7.2, galaxy A60 on same service provider together in same locations. And my m30s unit was the only one showing these issues. I just want to know if this is a fault with my particular unit or whether its a factory default issue

Peter, 11 May 2020Does m30s have heating issue?I have no heating problem but it may be heating up while uploading files to internet. I don't play games so I am not sure if it heats up while playing games.

Phone has a password option.In case this option is not used and password not given for the phone,in a situation where the phone comes toa halt asking for Password it comes to a permenant lockdown.What is the temporary password?

Been using this phone for 3 months,and it's awesome. Battery life is great,depends on how you use it. Lasts 24-36hours for me despite surfing the web severally,and the camera is beyond average. All you need to do is go to settings,and change to your specified cam that's all. Or go to youtube to watch a video of how to do that. Pls get your facts right before accusing.

This is a very good phone have been using for 3 months now,and so far it's been awesome. Battery lasts 24-36 hours despite the fact that I surf the web and much more. I would play music/radio while my phone is on a certain percentage,and it stays like that for an hour plus. Isn't that amazing?? I have never experienced any sorts or heating issue with this phone,the only thing I experienced was a bit of lag while surfing the web,because I downloaded stuffs from a site that infected my device. It's been my no 1 during my daily activities,and has helped my business move so well. Thanks samsung.

I'm using M30s. But now I feel that I made a mistake by buying this phone. Because the following are the things about which I'm not happy
1. M30s doesn't have SECURE FOLDER. This is my biggest problem. I couldn't hide my valuable data.
2. Camera is not that good.

someone, 04 May 2020m30s or m31 and why pleaseM30s would have more value for money than M31 unless the price difference between two is pretty little. You can't get excellent photo quality on a budget device. For this reason, camera performance between these two shouldn't be very different. In my case, M30s was 1850 and M31 was 2600. Because of 750 price difference, I bought M30s.

Nikhil, 02 May 2020My Samsung M30s - USB tethering is greyed. Cannot use Mobile data on desk top. How to do?? 1) Go to settings --> about phone --> software information --> build Number.
2) tap seven times on Build number. Developer options will be unabled.
3) Tap on developer options --> default usb configuration --> select USB tethering in radio button.
4) Restart the phone. Connect the USB to PC/laptop.
5) select mobile data on.
6) Select Settings-> connections->Mobile hot spot and tethering-> put USB tethering on.
7) In network and sharing select public.
8) start browsing. All the best.

After the recent android software update, my phone has begun to give many problems. The keyboard started to automatically close while typing and also closes apps on it's own if you reply to a message through the status bar. Horrendous update and there is no going back from this.

I started using this phone a week ago. First of all, the screen is excellent. It is bright and colors are great. It doesn't have the typical yellow tint on some AMOLED screens (whites aren't as bright as IPS panels, though). Front camera is very good but rear cameras are just okay. I think rear camera shots look over-processed. I didn't have any kind of stuttering in daily use but there are too many unnecessary things pre-installed (I disabled almost 170 of 300 apps with ADB). Battery life is perfect but isn't like having a 6000 mAh battery. It lasted 4 days in my normal use with around 10h screen-on time. It takes two and a half hours to fully charge and this is not that bad for a 6000 mAh battery. There is a 15W charger in the box but the cable is shorter than 1 meter. Speaker quality is good. Sound coming from the earpiece during calls is pretty clear. One UI is one of the best UI's you can use and it has pretty much settings without being too complicated.
