Guys just go to xda forums and find a custom rom to flash. Personally I flashed Android 12L and the phone hasn't ever been this smooth since I've bought it. The performance is great too

So, even I've been facing this boot loop issue all of a sudden. Took it to service center, they told me it would cost half the amount of the handset itself to fix it. And there would be no warranties for the repaired device.
I guess in the effort to compete with other brands in terms of budget, Samsung is reducing the quality of their device to fit in that budget for manufacturing. It's business but still that doesn't mean that you will sell untested/bad units to the genuine customers.
It would be hard to trust Samsung as a good brand again. My old galaxy j7 prime worked flawlessly for years and still working while this m30s is like a trash compared to the old device. What a waste!
I regret my decision of buying this handset. It would be ok to say that Samsung is now a five star restaurant which is serving dull dishes.

I got your concern.
My last phone was from samsung and i used it from 2015 to 2020.
Current one i bought in year 2020 and have no plan to buy another before 2025.
Even after 2025, if current phone works well then i will not consider buying new phone.

Like you i noticed such issues on youtube video and in gsmarena comments.
Some time i fear about those issues like it might happen with my phone.
I saw during software upgrade, after software update the bootloader stucks for much long time and that is the cause of my fear for my phone.
During that full update process i don't touch my phone and press buttons.
So, that i don't interfare with that process and cause any harm.
Till now my phone is ok except the battery, which probably lost around 5 percent charging capacity.

I see many people are facing restating issue/ boot loop at the same time few no. of people never even heard of such issue with their phones, I guess that this issue is present in few batches of this handset manufacturing/assembling.

Even I don't change phones that often, not because I can't but coz it's too much trouble transferring data from old to new, I know we can just depend on backups now a days but somethings just can't be backed up.
I would rather just use my current phone as long as I don't actually feel the need to upgrade.

If i am not bothering you, then can you kindly share how is the battery back up after so many years of usage?
Mine lost around 5 percent capacity like charges till 95 percent normally but then indicator blips as fully charged.
So, i think 5 percent battery capacity is lost on my phone.

Anyone changed the battery from samsung service center?
If yes can you kindly share details like the new battery cost and if new battery is giving decent back up or not when the phone was new.

I have this phone for almost 4 years, and no problems at all even though I dropped it many many times. Even the battery are still good for a whole day of using it. The best phone I've ever had.

It's going to be 4 years since I got this phone and I have probably dropped it 20 times and yet it just keeps on going. Not even a scratch on the screen. The compass doesn't work but everything else is still as good as new.

People are still buying this phone and samsung is still selling. The motherboard has issues and it starts bootlooping / heating or restarting after a certain update. And this happens immediately after warranty expires and there is a phone update. Are they injecting some some kind of code to break the phone?
