I am very much disappointed from m31s as I spent almost 20k and it didn't even got me even 2years . It was my 1st phone after school and on other hand my younger brother got vivo of 9k and is using it from 3.5 years and does gaming n all at it's fullest. I will never ever buy samsung phones .They should give some compensation on repairing or something else but this is not right for sure.

After 8 months of buying M31s, it started restarting automatically 3 times a week, but after latest update, it never automatically restarted, i knew how others M31s were getting dead, so i used with care like limiting processes and low usage, but one day in morning the battery was 5% so i put it in charging and forgot for few hours, pretty sure it was enough to heat up time with SuperFast Charging to make it dead, it just fixed on logo, customer care asked for both display and motherboard change, almost 70% of its value, surprisingly from other store, with cheap duplicate notch display, it worked well. If again motherboard heats up, it would damge display again.

I spent my hard earned money on this useless product. After 20 months i faced black screen issue and when i visited service centre they told me Motherboard issue which will cost me ₹8000. In future i will never buy any samsung product. Rating 3 out of 10.

worst mobile phone in the market with manufacturing defect which trigger after software updates and the company is not taking any responsibility please dont buy anything from samsung. looks like they did this defect for selling mother board

SamX5, 23 Aug 2022Seems motherboard issue is common for this device, many such cases reported in 2022 including ... moreBought in Jan 2021. Problems started with the Nov 2021 update. Never opted for motherboard replacement. After trying many things including factory reset at a service center, and updates, it seems to be stable once again now. I really wonder if it is a hardware issue; if so, it would not have been running problem-free now. Anyway, hoping the nonsense doesn't start with the release of the next update.

Dear sir/ madam
I bought samsung galaxy M31S 16 months ago.
Recently (14 may 2022) mobile has hanged continuously and I was handover the mobile to samsung store. Actually, there is a mother board complaint, but the samsung store people said power button problem, I was paid 1134 ruppees and the service man said the mobile is ok. I was check the mobile today by inserting SIM card, after inserting sim card immediately the same problem arises. I trust the samsung store people, I was belive there words but they fraud me.
It's very bad experience.
Really it's hurt me a lot,
Just 16 months how the mobile mother board has problem. I feel samsung has a brand but samsung Galaxy 31 S has a failure model.

Seems motherboard issue is common for this device, many such cases reported in 2022 including my own. Phone went dead in the middle of call, service centre told motherboard issue. Got it replaced after spending 8k as new device would drain min 20k. Suspected issue is the Software Update from Samsung. Is it an intentional bug in the software update to force users into buying new devices?
