Can the battery be replace... moreAll phone batteries are serviceable. Non-removable battery refers to a battery that cannot be removed by user with no tools and certain knowledge.
As far as i know, only Apple AirPods headset are not serviceable even from their specialists.

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2019Yes, those who insist using 3 5mm jack can use it with a USB type C to 3.5mm jack adapter, any... moreUser removable battery was like a savior when non water resistant phones got submerged in water. My galaxy alpha and my friends xiaomi note 4 were drowned in sea water some years ago. I quickly removed the battery and let the device dry and guess what, I used that phone more than 1 year after that.
But my friend could not remove the battery or remove the back cover. So that device was dead right there.
LittleWhole, 16 Jun 2019I beg to differ.
While I do appreciate my headphone jack, I don't use it much.
And you have ... moreI have tried wireless iems, and I can tell the difference. I won't consider myself and audiophile, but I'm serious about sound.
About the battery, in case of 3.5 mm jack, you don't have to worry about your iems stop working because of no battery. And power needed to run wired iems are very low. A few minutes of screen on time will kill the same amount of battery needed to run wired iems for hours.
And my point is, if you are gonna scrap headphone jacks, then why mock Apple for doing the same? Many people want it then, and many still want it now. Myself included.
