Unfortunately for me it got display issues at some point (got 2 phones in various perioods of time and same issues). M51 is nice too, but it is heavier. Anyway, still using it. Sadly Samsung stopped updates (latest was on 1 May 2024).

I had this phone since 2021. I no longer use it and it has been standing on the corner of my desk for a long time, however, I remember how great it used to be. As I've checked, it no longer supports the latest software updates (stuck on Android 12), however, the battery life has been the best. Equipped with a 7000 mAh battery, it had been the phone that had the longest battery life I've ever physically seen. It's also really sufficient for everyday tasks, such as banking, texting, and even gaming whether intensive or not, and it still works perfectly right now as of 2025. Overall, it's a great phone. It was great for its time and it's still decent right now. If I had this phone as my only phone today, I would still wait for a few years to upgrade.

I like the M51 but it is heavy and does not last as long as the Lenovo P2 which was a superior phone in all ways, the Lenovo P2 was a battery god. Also the speaker is mediocre and only has 1 compared to the 2 that the Lenovo P2 has.

Mine M51 got stuck at the "phone is starting" message. Anyone here got the same problem? What are the solution?

Yeah, I am also using from last 4 year. it still working smooth as i keep the system organised. for the daily normal use it is perfect set. Current scenario makes me to miss something like, 5G, WIFI6, 6e, fast charging, usb 3.0, & Ai feature. other thing like heavy processor and new android version are less effective for the normal daily life work. Wifi6 because here in my institute the router wifi6 type is available otherwise it is also, ok. Any suggestion if I want to switch as per my need? will decide to replace it this year if got good exchange value.

I am also using it since 4 years still fits for all things just the os upgrades missing otherwise one of the best device from samsung

I’ve had this phone for about ~5 years, and it still meets my needs pretty well. I think it works just fine. One of the coolest aspects of it is that the bezels are significantly smaller compared to some of Samsung’s newer phones, which is surprising. I’m considering switching to the S24 FE, but one thing that bothers me is how the bezels look too saturated, which isn’t to my liking. On the other hand, if you want a Samsung phone with thin bezels, you’d have to opt for the S24 or S25 series, which significantly increases the cost and takes it out of the budget-friendly category.

5 years with this phone, still great but charging is working after 5-6 attempts lately...
the only phone that can replace this i think is
redmi note 14 pro plus
but its not globally yet and i am afraid to buy china version

Don't know about screen much, but battery replacement normally do wonders to phone. I had replaced battery for S21 ultra and iPhone SE generation 1 in past.
And damn, I just felt some improvement in performance on the spot.

My screen turned greenish about six months ago, and over the past few days, it’s been constantly flickering for no reason. I decided to take it to a service center, and they said the screen was indeed damaged and needed replacement. I decided to replace the screen along with the battery, and now it looks as good as new.

I have the same phone and some... moreStart using your brain you won't ask such questions after that .. whole youtube world is talking about it , I my self faced the issue many other facing the same issue in samsung phones around me . Just because you didn't faced , it doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist. Everyone reported they started facing dispaly issue after an specific update . Samsung members is filled with the complaints and you asking a proof here.

Samsung ruined this phone with updates my dispaly started having issues of Green tint and screen started Flickering too it was really a beast with 7000mAh battery even today after 4 years of launch we getting only 5500mAh battery In phones with 40K price tag .. just imagine this thing with Snapdragon 7Gen 3 .

I have been using M51 since 4 years it is very good mobile but this mobile phone got a problem it was not charging then I took it to the repairer then he opened the mobile and there was a ribbon with the battery. Changed then fixed when I searched on YouTube, most of the M51 phones had this problem, and secondly, I wish it had a screen refresh rate of 90h and a processor of at least Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. It would be great
