I am experiencing the same way after the upgrade. Problem VOIP calling using earphone.

Hi guys, just go to Samsung maintenance center and they will fix the problem, i faced this problem after update and the mobile is under warranty so i go to them and they fix the problem after half an hour.

I received OTA software update on 10th January and I just clicked "Yes". The problem started like no audio from earpiece for skype, viber, tango and other voip applications. Battery draining very fast. Since it is under warranty I took this mobile to samsung service center. They simply said warranty does not cover any third party applications. This is really very bad....
After updating last Monday, Jan. 13, I couldn't hear voice calls through internet connections unless I use speaker mode. Very uncomfortable. I want to throw my phone on a really hard concrete now. What am I supposed to do with this scrap metal? :(

i did the same thing.updated my mega on 13th jan and now line and viber work only with loudspeaker. did you manage to rectify this problem? if yes pls share....thanks
I have updated the firmware to a different version. Currently I updated the firmware to Android 4.2.2 XWUANA1 build. Yet the issue of the sound has not resolved. I face the same issue when using Viber and other voice applications. So I guess this has not helped. At last what I think is we have to wait for Samsung to release another update which will fix the ongoing issue. Till then we will have to suffer.. :(

Hi Guys, earlier this week my mega indicated that there was a software update. I updated it and my phone has been acting like s*** since. It is slow. It keeps hanging. The apps take too long to open, I just wanted to find out if this is happening to others too and if there is a way this update can be reversed. Will keep looking at the comments in case anyone can help. Cheers
