beginner, 31 Jan 2012guys which is better nexus or s2...i am planing to buy one but has a bit of a confusion...curr... morei used s2. s2 is better, in terms of camera n video playback. s2 also has card slot, this one no. for other specs, it's basically the same, even the processor speed n ram.
nexus only has little bit better display than s2, that's all. so, go for s2, the one w/ perfectness.

Guys i have the australian version which holds a standard battery of 1750mAh. Is it possible to purchase an extended battery of 2000mAh and above from ebay? Do you think they would fit? Because the battery life is really terrible when the phone is in use. Please help guys.
basem, 30 Jan 2012this or nokia n9Hi!
Well, this is a good question. The N9 is more stylish, but it has a dead OS. :( The Galaxy Nexus is more bigger than the N9. It has a Dual Core CPU, the N9 does not have, but does NOT need one. Both lack a memory card slot. The N9 has a 16 GB and a 64 GB of version. The Galaxy Nexus a 16 GB and 32 GB. If you need many space, go for the N9. If you want a phone with a huge screen for surfing the Internet, choose the Galaxy Nexus. By the way the battery life of the Galaxy Nexus is not so great.

I have had Galaxy Nexus for 2 months now. Seemed to work great but suddenly started rebooting non-stop and couldn´t get it started. The solution from google was Hard Reset and they said they are working on it. No response yet! Many similar cases on google mobile forum. Beware! ICS??? Noy a good idea yet!
Its a smart slick phone i love it everyone got an iphone this phone matches it its a hit wi th
Me its a must have
Why dosen't it have 8 megapixel camera instead of 5 megapixel. It's camera quality is good but not good as samsung galaxy s2. This phone has 720p hd display which is very good.
My galaxy nexus is good but ice-cream sandwich makes it incompatible with a lot of non-market apps which is a real shame. You cannot (as far as i know) take screenshots because it cannot be rooted with z4root. Overall UI is good and smooth even with low storage space available. Great phone but i advise people to get it on a plan instead of outright. And no expandable memory is a real bitch :(
Today is my first day with this phone, I replaced my nice i9000.
a) From normal to landscape and vice-verse the phone is so slow, regardless of what you are doing. Takes about 3 seconds to do this.
B) When coming back from the menu to the normal desk area, the transition is kind of laggy, not so smooth.
C) From apps to widgets it also lags a little.
D) The phone is kind of big and I can't reach the screen to check notifications and so on. I guess I will get used.
E) Camera has very little settings/options to choose from.
I can't report on battery details yet, perhaps within a week or so.
ICS is like a new OS. I don't know if it gets any smoother than Gingerbread, perhaps. However, I don't see the new "eyecandie" or new options so useful. It's pretty much things you will barely use in real life.
Overall seems really nice, but not a phone that would make me drool
Julius, 25 Jan 2012The excellent: - Software. You've got updates and fixes. - GPS. Locks fast (5-8 seconds in... moreYou don't have an issue with the screen being too yellow? It's the only thing stopping me from loving the GN. When I put it next to my gf iPhone it's a big difference, it's yellowish and grey. It's something that many others are facing too: http://www.stuff-review.com/2011-11/samsung-galaxy-nexus-display-has-a-slight-yellow-tinge/
